  • Great Location, Great Condo, Beds need Replaced

"First things first -- The queen mattress downstairs and the king upstairs are extremely uncomfortable and need replaced. When you lay on the mattress, everyone rolls toward the center (I'm sure you know the feeling). Everything else about this condo we thoroughly enjoyed! The location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the shuttle to take you to the ski hill. Plus a short 5 minute drive downtown. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The grill on the back deck was an excellent touch. The vaulted ceilings and common area were very nice. The bathrooms were in great condition. The hot tubs were nice to have - they are about a 2 minute walk from the unit in a communal building. Note: you did not give us the code to the community hot tub building. Please include that with condo instructions in the future."

  • Easter Getaway

"My family of five including 3 teenagers and my Parents stayed for a long Easter weekend and had a BLAST!!! The house was gorgeous, very clean and had everything you could possibly imagine needing. We stayed 4 days and did not eat out once. The kitchen was nicer than mine at home and I loved cooking in it. It was supplied with every utensil you needed and full supply of dishes and glasses and more. The grill out on the deck made it nice to have steaks and hot dogs. The location is awesome to do anything and everything you want while visiting Silverthorne. Minutes from shopping, grocery and entertainment. We elected to stay more at the house and enjoyed the Hottub, games and watching movies on the many large TV's provided through out the house. The teenagers enjoyed having their own space from the adults to play, listen to music and watch TV, while us adults enjoyed visiting on the main level with less noise. Everyone was happy with having their own room, with the many to choose from in this house, so much nicer than staying in a hotel. For the ones that like to have alone time after the kids are down for the night, the Hot tub out in the glass room was perfect for looking at the stars and the moon shining on the mountains. Over all the PERFECT place to stay and we will for sure be staying again when we come out. The owner lives near by and if we had any troubles he was right there within moments of calling. He was happy to go over and explain any issues we had. Very nice guy and accommodating to our needs. He even had the campfire ready for us for one night. Thank you very much for the Awesome stay and will recommend the place to everyone."

  • Great Mountain Getaway

"Joe is an excellent host with clear communication. The house is large and beautiful, just like in the photos, with plenty of room and privacy. Location is perfect, with a great view of the lake. My wife and I loved it and would for sure recommend this home is you're looking for a beautiful, scenic, mountain getaway."

  • A Great Find in Beaver Creek

"Great VRBO vacation at the Park Plaza in Beaver Creek. We rented a 2-bedroom/2-bath timeshare unit in the Park Plaza from the owner via VRBO. It was easy to make arrangements with the owner, clear communications and directions, PayPal worked, and the Park Plaza front desk confirmed our week-long reservation. Park Plaza is a smaller property (36 units?), comfortable, well-furnished, upscale property without being pretentious. Convenient location near the base of the ski slope provides easy access to restaurants and shops. Our unit came with underground garage parking, a full kitchen including real coffee, daily room makeup, and breakfasts each morning in the Plaza lobby. The hotel staff was courteous, capable, and responsive. We were there for summer hiking and found the trails great with the Colorado weather clear. Very enjoyable stay! Park Plaza is a “gem” along the larger facilities in Beaver Creek. And Beaver Creek is less crowded than Aspen. We are already working with the owner of the unit to arrange a family gathering at the Park Plaza next summer."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
