  • Skiing with Friends

"The condo was great, it was a quick 5 minute walk to the Quicksilver Chair. At night it is an easy walk to Breckenridge Brewery and other restaurants. The kitchen is fully stocked which made it nice to eat a quick breakfast in the morning and get on the slopes. Having a washer and dryer and 2 bathrooms were an added bonus."

  • Spacious, inviting condo in prime location

"We stayed five nights here and loved it. It's much more spacious than you'd think from the pictures. Lots of thoughtful personal touches: knotty pine paneled doors, cubbies for your gloves and goggles, hooks everywhere, a ski rack and boot bench right inside the door and best of all, a luxurious master bed. It's a short 100 yards to the Quicksilver lift, which uploads 12 (twelve) skiers at a time! Easy walk to all the shopping and restaurants on Main Street."

  • Christmas Carols Around the Fireplace

"Beautiful home! And wonderful owners! We have a large family and the spacious layout of the living room, kitchen and dining areas accommodated our Christmas celebration rather nicely -- opening presents was no problem. There is a large fireplace that everyone gathered around to sing Christmas carols; some played the violin and others played acoustic guitars. There is also a very long dining table that extends further out on both ends. Our family loves to cook and rarely are we able to sit at a dining table altogether. Well, we found our match. The home is nicely situated between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. Had we stayed longer, the Vapor Caves in Glenwood Springs was next on our list. We did fit in two days of Aspen with one of the days hitting the slopes, of course! We also went museum and art gallery hopping and then some of us topped off our evening with a nice glass of wine or hot chocolate at the St. Regis. All in all, we highly recommend this home and can’t wait to return!"

  • Another great stay for our families

"Once a year, our two families make a trip to Steamboat for the skiing and neat town. We have stayed in this unit many times before, and it never fails to impress. Perfect accommodations for all 8 of us, and the kids really love the heated pool (adults love the hot tubs). Thanks for another great weekend!"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
