"We stayed in this townhome for four nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The view of the valley and river was amazing and we saw deer grazing there. The accommodations were great and was furnished with everything we needed, including shampoo and conditioner, which I had left at home. The condo was neat and clean when we arrived and everything was exactly as Fred said it would be when we arrived. We are looking forward to staying there again next summer. It would be an excellent place to stay while skiing in Winter Park, but we are too old now to ski so we have to visit in the summer. We enjoyed it a lot. Thank you Fred, for a wonderful place to stay."

  • Love, love, love this house!!!

"The home was perfectly laid out for my friends, my dog and I. My friends all took the upstairs bedroom (and loft!!) while I took the downstairs bedroom. The beds were comfortable which along with the hot tub ensured a good nights sleep after a day on the slopes!! The kitchen is extremely well equipped which made cooking easy. The large open floor plan was ideal for enjoying each others company - whether you were in the family room, dining area or kitchen. The location of the house - with it's easy, 1/2 block walk to the Winter Park Shuttle - was perfect. There was also a very, very scenic trail accessible within 1/2 block from the house which was ideal for walking and running with the dog, which definitely aided in tuckering him out :) The hot tub was a welcome relief after a long day on the slopes. I will definitely choose this home again when my plans bring me back to Winter Park. Ohhh and I can't close without mentioning Judy. She is superb!! So easy to work with, responsive and an overall wonderful woman. Thank you so much Judy for sharing your home with us!!!"

  • Rocky Mountain Experience

"We just got back from staying at this home for 4 days! What a great experience! It was very easy to book, payments were easily handled and communication was great! You will not find better views anywhere. We had a deer and her fawn pass by every morning and were visited by lots of entertaining hummingbirds! Just a mile up the road are trail heads and lake. We hiked up to Surprise Lake then on to Upper Cataract Lake. Beautiful! We also enjoyed fishing nearby in the Blue River. A couple nights we headed into town for dinner. We recommend The Dam Brewery (patio) in Dillon and we went for Pizza in Frisco that are our favorites. We had our golden retrievers with us and it worked out great for them also. You can't go wrong! Oh, did I mention the fire ring by the house that was fun too! We give it five STARS"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
