  • Ski trip 3/9-3/13/14

"We stayed here with my husband, daughter and her husband for our 2nd annual ski trip to Vail. We were very please with the cleanliness and that the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were updated. We would stay here again."

  • Perfect Ski House - Location. comfort and amenities

"Having planned ski trips for a group for the last 20+ years involving home rentals I can honestly say this was the best renatl ever. The 5 private bedrooms were perfect for our group of five guys - never used the 4 single beds still left over. Hot tub is four steps out off the kitchen, two car garage and a great view of Keystone night skiing and the Dillon Dam. Five minutes to food, dining and ski rental shopping - easy on/off to interstate 70. Working with the owners was perfect-always in communication. We were 15 minutes to Keystone, about 45 to Vail, 1 1/4 hr to Winter Park, 1 hr to Beaver Creek and about 30 minutes to Loveland. So do yourself a favor and when your ready to pull the trigger after countless hours of housing research - stop and pick this one - you can not do any better for the price, location and amenities. Ski well and travel safe."

  • Great experience

"We stayed in this condo with another couple in mid june for four nights. It was a very comfortable experience. The location is great for summer time with kids. There is a nature trail and paved biking trail close by. Mall is walking distance which was great because we were able to rent bikes on an hourly bases whenever we wanted. The owner is very helpful as well and responded to all our questions in a timely manner. It was our first experience renting a condo and we are very satisfied."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
