  • Great Place to Stay

"Would highly recommend this rental. Our family of 5 stayed there, and found it to very clean, comfortable and roomy. It had a beautiful view and great balcony. It had all the amenities and comforts of home; plus hot tub, sauna and pool. It was on the bus line to Keystone, which made it convenient when our older children wanted to ski later than we did. Gary, the owner was wonderful to work with; and made renting this condo a pleasure."

  • Beautiful View - Spacious

"A few friends and family members spent a weekend in Grand Lake to stream fish and spend time down in the Grand Lake Village. The cabin is about a 15-20 minute walk to the village which we did a couple times. We loved the front deck and the tremendous views of Shadow Mountain and Grand Lake. We would certainly stay at this cabin again. The owners were very responsive. The cabin was clean and there was plenty of comfortable places to lay the head down at night. Again, we would most definitely stay here again."

  • Perfect Condo for our Trip to Keystone

"Wonderful stay. Truly minutes away from the Mountain House lodge and lifts. Easy transport by bus or shuttle to other areas of Keystone. The condo was perfect for our family of four that included two teenagers. Very comfortable with plenty of space and a kitchen with new appliances."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
