  • Nice Place!

"Spacious, comfortable, equipped, hot tub, quiet, a very nice place to stay. We did enjoy Frisco and the little restaurant Prost (I think) with some great bratwurst and German beer, nice treat for us. It is close to many ski mountains and close enough to Vail and Beaver Creek. We hope to stay again!"

  • Best location for winterpark skiing

"This was our second stay in founders point. The first was booked through the condo, so we did not get the unit we wanted. We found Lisa's unit on VRBO this time. We were very excited with the unit. She has it fixed up so nice. We felt like we were her friends staying there-- candles in the bathroom, lots of extra supplies in kitchen that we didn't expect. We especially loved having our own washer/dryer. Also loved the view from our balcony. We could look out over the courtyard hot tub area and watch skiers come down the mountain. Lisa answered my texts immediately when I had questions."

  • Awesome!!

"This home exceeded our expectations by far. We really enjoyed the proximity to town along with extremely private grounds. It's very modern and open, but there is still enough interior privacy that accommodated our large family nicely. Definitely coming back!!!"

  • Winter Park - sticks and boards

"Very nice place conveniently located in downtown WP and close to WP Ski Resort. Clean well furnished and comfortable. Only negative is the lack of a washer/dryer. Although there is a shared one available in a room off the parking garage there appears to be only one for multiple condo units and it was usually being utilized by someone else."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
