  • Owners condo had eveything I needed and was very clean and neat

"I have stayed at silvercreek 4 years in a row so I could ski Winter Park. I missed seeing a fire in the fireplace during my 2 weeks stay it was never on. The tavern appears to have closed never saw it open. The small shop that had useful item is gone. I would think that a basic breakfast would be appreciated...breakfast tacos maybe just something simple but attractive to many, likely this would bring even the local folk in for a coffee and quick breakfast.. Figure out some way to keep people coming. I will be back as the owners condo was what I wanted."

  • Great Location

"We stayed here (4 guys) for a week of skiing. This is a very nice house with a great ski in / ski out location. It is a great location for both skiing and getting into town. It is about a 15 minute walk to town, but of course the trip back is all uphill. Plenty of room for 4, a family with kids would also do well in this house. Only slight complaint is the TV situation, not very big and not high def. But, you're there to ski and get outside, not watch TV. Radiant heating in the floors is really nice. Property managers are always available and helpful."

  • Wonderful Stay!

"We have stayed at this property before and came back because we enjoyed it so much. It is a beautiful log home close to Winter Park/Fraser. Leslie was extremely efficient with respect to the reservation and we will definitely stay here again next year. We enjoyed the deck, the hot tub, the sauna and all the ample room. This property is a great "find"."

  • Family Ski Trip

"We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. We were a family of 7 total and had plenty of room. The best feature of the condo is the location near the base of Peak 9 as well as the very short walk to restaurants/shops. We never got in the car the entire stay. The condo itself is cozy and has beautiful mountain views. The owners are very nice and easy to work with!"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
