  • Excellent place to stay!

"Was my first time using VRBO and the stay we had at this place exceeded my expectations. I'm usually picky we're I stay. Plenty if room, shuttle was very close by. Super Bee lift is right out the door which made our ski team practice easy."

  • Enjoyable FALL retreat

"I just spent 30 days in this comfortable condo soaking up the beauty and feel of fall in the mountains. The view was awesome as we watched the leaves turn, and we even had the privilege of waking up three mornings to light snow. The atmosphere in Trappers Crossing was peaceful and quiet. This cozy condo was as well equipped as my home, plus had extras such as humidifiers. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The grill was easy to use, and the fireplace was wonderful. Laura was great to work with and responsive to questions. I highly recommend this inviting condo home. Thank you, Laura, for sharing it with us. I hope to return!"

  • Excellent time in CO

"This was our third time staying at this condo. It is great for families or bigger groups. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessities and the pantry usually has the essentials to get you started. Linens, decorations and furniture are all nice and the condo is well kept. The washer/dryer is a nice bonus. Michael was a joy to work and you can tell his guests are respectful of the property. Great views of the lake and trail heads to Buffalo Mtn. and Lily Pad pond are just up the road. We stayed in the area for 2 weeks and it was a great base to explore Summit Co. Highly recommend and have already booked for next year."

  • Very nice and comfortable place with everything we could need.

"The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. My kids loved the pool and hot tubs. I had never used ROKU before, so that was a neat thing to get to try out. Everything was clean and well maintained."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
