  • Great place

"This place is a gem. Everything was like it was supposed to be (it was clean, complete, and everything worked), and the location is hard to beat. We were able to walk to anything on the south side of town, and the bus comes only a half-block away, if you're going further north. The owners were very pleasant and responsive. We'll definitely stay here again (can't wait to come back to Breckenridge, for that matter)."

  • Great place!

"Really enjoyed our stay here at bear's den. The location right off of main street in Frisco was perfect for getting to multiple ski resorts, and downtown Frisco is just a really cool spot with lots of good restaurants and shops. The condo itself was even better than what the pictures represented. Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Great Location, Great Condo!

"We stayed in this condo for our Honeymoon and we had a wonderful time! The unit is a great size with lots of living room. The kitchen is wonderful and very well equipped! There is a beautiful view of the mountain out of the window. The owners are extremely kind and were great to work with. They even left us a bottle of champagne and a note welcoming us to the condo! I would highly recommend this unit!"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
