  • Great Condo for a Family Trip!

"We loved the layout and roominess of the condo. We've stayed at Trailhead Lodge in the past and love the property. We'll definitely return again next year."

  • Great house

"We were a group of 4 families with kids ranging from 6 months to 8 years old skiing for the second time in Breckenridge. The house met all our needs and expectations. The kids had the space to play together, but also the ability to retire to their sections when quiet time was needed. The kitchen coped perfectly and the hot tub was a great way to star gaze in the evenings. Ski school was a short drive, which was perfect. Town was a bit further than we realized, but this was not an issue. The owner even found pack and plays and a high chair for our stay. I would recommend Cobb Vista to large groups looking for a place of their own to relax in after a long day skiing."

  • Great location!

"Really enjoyed the location of this condo - at the end of the 4 o'clock run, and right next to a bus stop to get to either peak 7/8 or peak 9/10. Very nice size condo. Interesting having the two double/queen (?) beds in the Master - but that's the best use of the space. Did notice that one of the beds seemed to be shorter on one side than the other, and one of the murphey bed legs was bent so it was not level, but we slept soundly anyways. Kitchen was decent size for multiple cooks at the same time and had all the utensils and pans we needed. We also enjoyed the hot tubs each night, and the close proximity to town, ski rentals and liquor store! Would definitely return to this condo in the future."

  • Exceptional...

"Exceptional home away from home. Marc and his wife have meticulously designed/decorated this lovely townhome for optimum comfort and luxury. Nestled snugly at the basin of the mountains, the views are breathtaking. Within walking distance to the slopes, property mgmt on site, and the newest amenities, all needs are met. When we experienced a delay upon arrival, at the airport (Hwy temp closed/return cars not yet available for new renters), Marc made certain we could access keys after hours. We look forward to returning next season."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
