  • Awesome place

"What an awesome place. So close to everything and just a short walk through the back door to the Quicksilver lift. I loved the bear lamp in the living room. The bee hive is a light. This place is very homey and don't think we turned the tv on once. The view from the balcony is better than the pictures. You can see one of the ski lifts and the mountains in the morning are beautiful. The outdoor hottub is great and visited every day after skiing. My girlfriend the first night really liked it, but she loved it when she was my fiancé the second night."

  • Great Condo

"We loved staying at this condo. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo with spacious we'll equipped kitchen and great room in between. We were part of a destination wedding and we're able to participate with the other guests at the hotel in the complex, but had some privacy and space to relax. Trail behind Condo is great for walking, biking, and skateboarding."

  • Great Mountain Location!!!

"The Meyer Mountain House is a great and very spacious (huge room for kids with bunk beds) rental. The views are spectacular of all of the mountain ranges around it, and a view of Lake Dillon as well. We really like the fact that the Free Shuttle literally picks up 20 feet from the front door - you can travel to Silverthorne or Dillon as well as all of the ski areas. Leave the driving to someone else - right??? I like the personal touches - there were shampoos and soaps for my wife and food in the cabinets (you are supposed to replace what you use and we did that and more) as well as coffee. There is nothing worse than arriving and wanting to settle in and having to make a run to the store for sundries - not at this place! The hot tub was ready to go and that view is worth kit all. Our family recommends it."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
