  • Wonderful House for a Ski Vacation

"This was a terrific house for a ski vacation. It was very close to Snowmass and the Cross Country Skiing trails at Snowmass Club. The free shuttle came right in front of the house. The house was large and accommodated our party of 7 adults. The place was stocked with supplies when we got there so we really only had to purchase food and beverages. The hot tub on the back deck was a wonderful treat at the end of the day. The owner Chuy was great to work with and kept in constant communication. My only complaint were the pillows on the beds. They were a little flat and lumpy. Some new ones would be a good improvement."

"The condo was nice and we had a very good time while in Copper Mt.. The owner was very easy to talk to and she was very good at getting information to us about the condo and how to get into the condo, etc. We had great skiing and Copper now has a small little town. It was fun being back in Copper."

  • Wonderful Place - Wonderful Stay

"I'd actually give this four and a half stars, because no place is perfect - but this one came as close as anyone could ask for. It's location was ideal being close to both the town and RMNP. The view would get more than five stars - absolutely gorgeous. The unit was comfortable and peaceful, with all the creature comforts of home. We enjoyed our time inside as much as we did outside. Our main reason for our trip to Grand Lake was to go up into the park to watch the elk and hear them bugle. We weren't disappointed. We also saw three moose together the first night in the park. We also hiked up to Adams Falls and spent time in town. It was a wonderful stay and I hope to stay here again."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
