  • Great House

"Great house and great location. We had an excellent time, we ended up spending more time than we planned at the house due to the incredible amount of snow that fell while we were there. So we were glad the house was so comfortable and well equipped. The only problem we ran into was with the shuttle service. It structured the reservations in half hour increments, which we were not aware of. So our options were very limited because all of the morning & afternoon times were taken and they were not flexible or accommodating at all. The only availability most days was after 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and before which became very frustrating because we wanted to ski more. Most of our issues probably resulted from the lack of tip the first day. For some reason no one in our group had cash with them (which was our mistake) the first day and when we spoke to the booking service about the second day pickup we were told that we were required to tip in a very awkward exchange. Besides the disappointing shuttle service we really enjoyed the house and the location. For future renters I recommend calling a week before arrival to book the priority shuttle times AND don't forget cash to tip the drivers."

  • Great couples weekend

"This property was fantastic. The location is a perfect ski in/ ski out. You are literally steps away from the lift when you go out and are able to ski within a couple of feet of the ski lockers when you come in. The Landing was on the shuttle route, but the dial-a-ride was so convenient we used that instead. Although this was a couples weekend, my husband and I would love to bring our kids out to stay at this particular property. You just can't beat the convenience!"

  • Hotel room with Class

"This hotel room allowed us to visit keystone on our budget, and had a shuttle that took us to the lifts. We will be back!"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
