  • Treasure of Klack

"The Treasure of Klack truly was a treasure! There were 7 people in our group and the house offered plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. It was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We have rented numerous houses and condo's over the years and we have never stayed anywhere that offered as many of the little extras as the Treasure of Klack. The location was perfect with easy access to everything we wanted to do. I can't imagine staying anywhere that would have been better. I strongly recommend this home to anyone vacationing in Breckenridge."

  • cobbled vista breckenridge

"This is the best ski accommodation we have booked in the US. The party of 12 thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cobb vista, excellent location, fantastic amenities and spectacular views. The journey to Peak 7/8 takes 5 minutes, and the town is a further 5 minutes down the road. The welcome from the owners agent in Breckenridge was splendid, she went out of her way to be of assistance, even getting extra gas for the barbecue and any issue we had was resolved with the minimum of fuss. We would highly recommend this property and I am sure that we will make a return visit in the near future."

  • Exceeded our expectations!

"This is a comfortable, well-equipped condo just minutes away from Granby Ranch ski resort. The furniture and decorations made it seem like a home away from home and not a hotel room or rental. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals during the week. All of the arrangements were easy and we had no trouble checking in and out. Some notes: The condo has a boiler and radiant heating - that means we didn't run out of hot water for our showers when we were all getting ready at the same time. There is a lift dedicated to the condos, but you have to get lift tickets in advance to ride it. It was also a bit far away for our small children to walk to it. There is a shuttle with pickup that is very close to the building that drops off at the lodge. We didn't use it, but it looks like a good option. The resort itself was really convenient all around and really great for families with small kids."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
