  • Fabulous location, ideal for families!

"Our family of five just got back from a stay at the beautiful Log home. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for everything and anything you want to do in the mountains. There were beautiful hiking trails very close by, horseback riding, and animals everywhere! My husband, who loves to fish, would fish on the lake every morning and evening. He caught dozens of large trout. Our kids(ages 7,9,11) would paddle around the lake and even caught some fish. We saw moose, mule deer, fox, humming birds, and elk right out our front and back door. I highly recommend this house for families! It is also in a very safe area, which was comforting to me, since I like to go out for early morning walks."

  • INCREDIBLE property

"WOW.. This is one amazing property. My husband, myself and our adult daughter stayed for three nights this month. My only regret is that I did not book this property for a longer stay. It is incredible. The pictures certainly do not do it justice. Everything was 1st class, including the kitchen and the kitchen amenities. Cooking in this kitchen was a pleasure for sure. The bedding was luxurious and extremely comfortable. Getting into "town" is less than a 10 minute easy drive. We enjoyed the drive up to the house, and saw many dear, fox, and elk. My daughter and I stood on the balcony each night and listened to Elks bugling. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub. It snowed for 2 of our days and we enjoyed drinking wine in the hot tub with the snow... (an experience we don't have in Florida) This is a big home, full of 1st class amenities and very luxurious. We didn't use many rooms in the house, being just 3 of us, but I can see how this would be a perfectly set up house for large parties, and family gatherings. Curtis was super easy to deal with via phone and emails, and I received my deposit check back the week after I returned home. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would enthusiastically recommend this beautiful home to my friends and family."

  • Great Location!!

"The location of this condo was really perfect. Only a 2 minute drive to the base of Ski Granby. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were extremely helpful answering questions before our stay and were available via cell phone to answer any concerns we had during the weekend."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
