  • Great value for amazing location

"The vacation home is perfect for a group gathering, very comfortable and fairly priced. The location is amazing - walking location to waterfall trailhead, one mile drive to nearby hikes (both vigorous and easy hikes available) and less than five minutes to downtown Grand Lake. The main room of the home is laid out perfectly to host a group for eating at a large round table, as well as for visiting in many cozy chairs and couches. The entire first floor public area overlooks the lake, as does the second floor main bedroom and deck. As a 3 generation family gathering, we really enjoyed the private access to the lake. The older generation was able to enjoy cozy seating on the covered deck while the younger set played in the yard and water. We brought a canoe and rented kayaks in town for exploring the glorious views from the lake. Highly recommend for those who want comfortable setting, glorious natural setting and access to hiking."

  • Excellent Stay

"We had a great winter weekend in Grand Lake. We were staying for a wedding and the ease of having a beautiful home-like place to stay and prepare for the event was excellent! The condo was spacious and stocked with Kitchen utensils and worked great for a family. The owners were great to work with in reserving, responding, and assisting with a problem ASAP. There was a slight glitch in the heat (and in Grand Lake winter…this is important) and I am fairly certain from the point of calling to report and having the repair man finished and the condo warm took about an hour. Excellent!"

  • Relaxing stay in a quiet spot snuggled along the Arapaho Forrest.

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the Condo in the Woods. It snuggles right up to the edge of the Arapaho National Forrest with the Snake River rushing over rocks and boulders just a few yards away providing a wonderful sound backdrop for sitting out on the patio in the morning with a hot cup of coffee. We opened the front and back doors (with the screen doors pulled closed) and enjoyed a great cooling breeze during the midday. The condo is located near the end of the cul-de-sac and has a feeling of privacy. Nice place to go on walks through the neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the items we needed for cooking. TV and Wifi work well. The condo isn't fancy but is very clean and neat. Nice bathroom. It made for a very relaxing, enjoyable get away for us. Just what we wanted and needed."

  • Perfect Townhome for a Steamboat Vacation!!

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Steamboat this summer, especially because of Greg and Cindy's beautiful townhome. Everything was perfect. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, roomy, and very nicely decorated with great amenities. Greg and Cindy provided detailed information on their home which made our visit smooth and hassle free. We had a family reunion at this location and were able to enjoy Steamboat and all it had to offer in an absolutely perfect home. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a vacation in Steamboat, and hope to stay there again sometime in the future."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
