  • Winter Wonderland

"Great size cabin for our family of 12. They had everything that we needed, except food of course. The cabin was very well taken care of and very clean. When we needed help I contacted Mike and he directed me on who to call. Very nice town and the people there are very welcoming. I can't wait to spend time here again in the future."

  • Wonderful New Year's Vacation

"We visited the area from Texas for the New Year's holiday 2014-2015. We have traveled here for the last 4 years for vacation and have to say that this HOME was the best by far! We only used the hot tub once because it was a wee too cold for we southern folk, but that one time was very nice! What impressed us the most was how well furnished and well supplied it was! The owners had everything ready for us and everything worked great! So nice to have a washer and dryer so we didn't have to overpack! It made our stay so comfortable. Silverthorne was close to everything and we loved walking the trail along the Blue River. We definitely hope to back again if not once but twice in 2015! Going to maybe try Summer activities as well as Winter fun in Colorado! You will not go wrong choosing this unit for sure!"

  • Amazing Home-Great Town!!

"We had a fantastic time in Steamboat Springs! We didn't want to leave. The house was perfect for our family, all 6 of us, with plenty of room to spare. It was adequately equipped with everything we needed and a short drive to the free base area parking. It was private and quiet. The owner and caretakers were very helpful and prompt in response--THANK YOU! We'd love to come back!!"

  • Making Family Memories

"Our family had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. It was a real treat for the grandchildren to be able to meet for the first time as they live on opposite sides of the country. As a surprise our kids hired a professional photographer to come and capture all of us together. The house is perfect for playing indoors and out. We spent a lot of time at the big table playing games, talking and generally enjoying each other. The kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and entertainment room contained everything you could need. The house is beautiful and the area is perfect for affordable family fun. We made full use of the 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 5 washers/dryers and having decorations for the holidays just topped it off. The great room and fireplace were warm and cozy providing a great place to gather for storytelling and snoozing! And the biggest bonus were the heated floors throughout the house, what a nice surprise. It felt like home. We plan to come back again someday whenever possible. I would highly recommend this to any family. Make sure if you come in the winter that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Got one car stuck and had to push it, but then just parked it for the week - another chapter in this wonderful adventure. The owners have thought of everything and we are grateful they are willing to share it. Don't miss this beautiful house and area."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
