  • Absolutely fantastic!

"My husband and I decided to spend the weekend of our first wedding anniversary in the mountains, and boy are we glad that we took the advice of a friend and chose to stay at BlueSky in Breckenridge!! The condo itself is complete with all of the finest finishes and details that one can think of, including a kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cooking equipment as well as a fan and humidifier amidst other ammenities. We took advantage of the spa for a couple of fantastic massages and a dip in one of the large jacuzzis which we had completely to ourselves. I have been fortunate enough to do a fair amount of international travel, have experienced some pretty amazing spas, and can affirm that this is truly a world-class spa. BlueSky is within reasonable walking distance to Main Street Breckenridge yet it maintains a secluded, romantic feel. We would recommend this resort to anyone who has an excuse to go to Breckenridge and for anyone in general looking for a top shelf getaway."

  • Perfect Getaway

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Icehouse. The property was in excellent condition. Very clean and comfortable. Bob was very welcoming and gave us some helpful advice on hikes as well as good spots on McClure Pass to watch the Pro Cycle Challenge. The Crystal Valley is beautiful and we'll definitely return to Icehouse to enjoy it again!"

  • Perfect long weekend

"This house was the perfect home away from home! Everything was set up for a relaxing and fun stay. Close to Breck and Dillon, but far enough to fl secluded. Management is very helpful, available, and flexible. Would love to come back every year :)"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
