  • Incredible Home, Large and Spacious, Would Highly Recommend to Families or Small Groups

"This home was amazing and we could not have asked for more. The views of Winter Park Resort are just outstanding. The home was so comfortable and beautifully furnished. We all loved the radiant in floor heating, and all the bedding. The dry-wet sauna and the hot tub put this rental over the top. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a luxurious and spacious home for their Winter Park Vacation."

  • Wonderful Ski Granby Experience - Outstanding View

"Condo was exactly what was advertised. Perfect for multiple child family. Nicely decorated and very functional. Kitchen was furnished; cooked every morning and most evenings. Was concerned that because it got pretty cold at night that condo would get chilly. Far from it; condo stayed nice and toasty with heater and gas fireplace. Didn't need to pull out extra blankets. City Market (Kroger) is only 5 minute drive away. Clean, had everything we needed and was reasonably priced. Get the City Market shopper card; we saved money and got a discount on gas later. Isn't ski in/ski out, but is next best thing. 2 minute drive to the resort drop off and parking. One of the lifts is only 75 yards away. On third day, teenagers just walked across parking lot with skis and got on the lift to ski to base. The best part of staying here..... The VIEW !!! Thought I had seen mountains, but watching the dawn sun come up over the mountains through the living room windows is spectacular. Grab yourself a cup of coffee, sit down and enjoy."

  • Great condo within two blocks of ski lift!

"Our group of 8 stayed here for a long weekend and loved the place! There was more than enough room for all of us - I don't think the pictures do it justice as to how much space is in the living room/dining room/kitchen area. It was a two block walk to the Quicksilver Lift so that made it super easy to get on the mountain every day and we appreciated being on the ground level. It's also a short walk (4-5 blocks) to Main Street. We enjoyed the hot tub and porch as well. Steve was awesome to work with leading up to our stay and made everything very enjoyable and easy. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Scenic and beautiful

"Just returned from a wonderful summer at the Hacienda. Couldn't stay at a more perfect home. Waterfall stream in backyard, gorgeous view of Sopris in the front. Interior adorned with exceptional Indian and cowboy paintings and sculptures. Have stayed in Basalt for many summers and this was definitely our favorite! Can't wait to return. Thank you Sandy and John."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
