  • Ski Vacation

"Very nice condo in good location. Short walk to Snowflake lift and you can ski back to the end of the cul-de-sac. The unit is very clean and has nice accessories (towels, sheets, cookware). The only negative is the poor internet service, but hey - it's vacation, not supposed to be working anyway. Payment process was easy, the security deposit was refunded quickly. The owner was great to work with and we would definitely rent from her again."

  • Perfect ski holiday

"Our three week stay in Stephen's condo was perfect. The location is spot on - we skied to the back door, via Four O'clock run, bus stops in both directions outside the door, and short walk to Main St. The condo is comfortably furnished, with everything we needed for our stay. As we cooked most of our meals, we appreciated the well stocked kitchen, including basic cooking supplies. The proximity to the elevator was perfect - We were able to dash from condo to lift in swimsuits, on our way to the hot tub, without suffering from hypothermia. On busy weekends, we never had a problem getting onto a bus to Peak 9, whereas the next two stops always had a big crowd struggling to board the bus."

  • Had a Casa Del Wow Time!

"We came to Breck to get away and enjoy everything the summertime in Colorado has to offer. We were not disappointed! The end of summer in Colorado is always perfect weather. The Casa Del Wow was such a nice retreat to the hustle and bustle of the city. So quiet, and the stars at night illuminated the sky! Activities included, the Gondola in Breck, visiting Idaho Springs for a last day of white-water rafting, stopping in at Tommy Knockers for a cold beer and excellent food! Just a few minutes from the Casa - We hiked and finally conquered the Fourteener, Quandary Peak! What an incredible experience that was. On our way out one morning, we sighted a bear, yes a bear! and a moose! All within the same 2 min from the Casa. We enjoyed dining and shopping in Breck, too. The Casa had everything it needed for eating in or beautiful setting on the patio. Amazing!"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
