  • Fantastic family snowboard/ski vacation!

"We found this outstanding home after multiple searches. Many of the other properties in Breck wanted unreasonable terms, but the owner was extremely accommodating and took good care of us! The other properties do not come close in value! Our family chooses a resort every year to meet. We all agreed that this house and trip was the best yet! If you want location location location, it doesn't get any better than this! We walked to the lifts and to town everyday/night and had a blast. Amazing home with beautiful features/amenities. Thanks again for everything!"

  • Awesome Spot and Priced Better than Most

"We stayed here in the Fall and to be honest, I was very impressed with how nice it was since it is priced more competitively than many of the others in this same complex. The owner was very flexible and responded quickly to all inquiries. The pool and hot tub were awesome. Highly recommend this place."

  • A wonderful place for a family trip!

"We loved our stay in this beautiful home! There is so much room, absolutely perfect for a family reunion, and so tastefully decorated and furnished. Nice big dining table so everyone can sit together fo dinner, and a great kitchen for cooking! Clean and just as pictured. A very short drive gets you to Beaver Creek, and Vail is close as well. Reasonably priced for such a nice home. The hot tub is nice and big, wished it was outside, but with the door open to the outside, it was fine! The wood burning fireplace is a real plus, since they are hard to find. Nothing beats that!"

  • Clean, comfortable, excellent staff

"We had a great stay! Telemark is not one of the fancier lodges, and it is across the street from central village (very short walk). Close to bus stops. The room was decorated nicely and had nice upgrades like granite. It is not apparent from the photos, but the studio is divided into two areas by a pocket door. One area has the living room, the murphy bed, the kitchen, and the dining area. The other area has the bunk beds, the full bath, and a second sink area. The mattresses in the bunkbeds are very tall, which may be problematic if you have younger children-- the mattresses are taller than the rails. There may be additional rails available if you ask, I'm not sure. Kitchen is well equipped-- complete with wine/bottle opener. They also provide some sample coffees and a small soap/shampoo/conditioner set. DVD player and some adult board games. View was very nice, and there is an area behind the Telemark that has untouched snow- great for playing with kids in! My husband and daughter really liked the hot tub and thought it was nicer than most public hot tubs. Skyrun staff were very responsive to any needs, and were very friendly and good natured."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
