  • Wonderful Home

"My family went out to Colorado to visit my sister and her family who moved to Denver in the fall. We were looking forward to catching up and having lots of winter adventures. This house was the perfect place to do so. It's even nicer than the pictures and had the perfect layout. My mom enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs bedroom/bathroom, and we were able to fit three kids and two couples in the upper bedrooms. The open layout of the living room/kitchen/dining room is also great. It was also wonderful to have the bus stop right across the street. We used it for all our activities save snow shoeing, and it make the trip a lot easier, especially with the kids. While I had no problems at all about the house, I would like to add a personal story. We had been recommended to stay a night in Denver before we came up the mountain (We're from New York). We were anxious to start our fun and ignored that advice. We arrived at the house at 3pm, and by 8pm, my husband and I were in the ER with altitude sickness. My three year old got sick the next day, and we had to use oxygen compressors the entire week. We felt better after day 2 and were able to enjoy all the wonderful things of Breckenridge, but it was a really terrible start to a trip. I highly recommend that people research altitude sickness before they come (the house is even higher than the town), and take care. Dr. Gray is an emergency care doctor that will take calls and house calls and was extremely helpful when we were taking care of my daughter. He said he would also be happy to help people prepare before they come. I strongly recommend giving him a call. https://plus.google.com/103196585261912010113/about?gl=us&hl=en"

  • Spring Break 2015

"We absolutely loved Ron's condo! It was great for 2 adults and 2 teenagers! Ron was very very helpful! Communication with him was excellent. The condo is right by 2 awesome ski lifts and rental shop is located right below. Thanks for making our trip even better! The lift tickets 2 for 1 was a life saver!"

  • Has Everything!

"Fireplace (with fully stocked logs) inside after skiing, as well as the spa with pool close by are great, as is the view of the meadow and mountains from the front. Fully equipped kitchen, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as internet make it easy for a group. And being on first floor makes for easy in and out. We've stayed here multiple times, and will continue coming back. Winter Park is close by, with convenient bus service as well as by car. And of course fabulous skiing, our main attraction. Great restaurants in the area too!"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
