"Great place to stay! Nice, clean and well maintained. We have been skiing in Winter Park for the last 20 years and this place was great and we loved having a garage. Great price and accommodations for a family. Owner was easy to work with."

  • Excellent Trip to Steamboat!

"This was by far the best way to do lodging in Steamboat! The property is excellent and they owners are very nice and helpful. We loved how they left notes around the place so that we knew how to work everything from the TV to the gas fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked and the apartment surprisingly spacious! We were shocked that their asking price for rental was less than several of the area hotels! While it is not walking distance (when you are wearing snow gear) to the gondola the apartment is <100 yards to the nearest bus stop which will take you to the base of the mountain with only a 5-10 minute ride. Super easy. If my boyfriend and I ever get the chance to return to Steamboat we would definitely stay here again!"

  • A Perfect Stay.......

"Excellent condo, I spent five days in the mountains skiing and this wonderful studio condo was perfect for me. Great location, steps to the Golden Peak lift and an easy walk or bus trip to Vail village shops and restaurants. The condo itself was very clean, comfortable and nicely appointed just as the ad stated. It is all that one or two people need that want to ski and sleep. Having a full kitchen made my stay even better. Bathroom very clean and a terrific shower... I love a good shower with really good water pressure. The only thing to be aware of is it is located next to the building laundry, but I never heard any noise ever from that area. The owner Rene is a true professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend this condo :))))"

  • Fun for all types

"Our family of four had a wonderful time at the Riverhouse. The fishing was spectacular, the hot tub was fabulous, the house and bedrooms were very comfortable, and the views from the deck are spectacular. The house is perfectly placed in woody creek between aspen and basalt, and right across the river from Woody Creek Tavern - one of our favorites. I would highly recommend the Riverhouse to anyone."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
