  • Fun for all types

"Our family of four had a wonderful time at the Riverhouse. The fishing was spectacular, the hot tub was fabulous, the house and bedrooms were very comfortable, and the views from the deck are spectacular. The house is perfectly placed in woody creek between aspen and basalt, and right across the river from Woody Creek Tavern - one of our favorites. I would highly recommend the Riverhouse to anyone."

  • Awesome Rental!!!

"I traveled with a group of guys to Breckenridge and Judy was nice enough to rent her place to us. I was surprised at how amazing and convenient the house was. Waking up and walking two doors down an right on to the lift was perfect. The heated garage was perfect for storing all our gear as well. After a long day on the mountain the hotub was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate the muscles. All in all, I would rent this house again in a heartbeat and look forward to doing so in the future!!!! thanks again!!!!"

  • Great family vacation at awesome Pines Condo

"We just got back from a great family weekend ski trip to Beaver Creek. Patty's Pines Lodge Condo was outstanding. We felt as though we were borrowing a friend's condo instead of a rental. This is the first time I have used VRBO and was a bit nervous. The condo is furnished completely as if it is full time owner occupied. All furniture, bedding, kitchen items are so much nicer than you would expect in rental property. The view over the mountains is beautiful and the condo is extremely roomy feeling. The Pines staff was excellent -- the valet service is very responsive and cheerful. And the breakfast buffet was great. Lastly Patty was a pleasure to deal with. We hope to use the condo again next year."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
