  • Family Christmas trip

"This was an amazing house for a family trip. The house is divided between three levels. We let the kids have the 8 bunk beds on the basement floor (each bed with it's own tv!) to keep them away from the adults. The rest of the house was the adult playground. The house is amazing!! It has a HUGE kitchen which we used every night and morning to cook meals for the 16 people that COMFORTABLY stayed here. The hot tub outside was put to good use to soothe our aching muscles after each hard day of snowboarding and the 2 steam showers served as extra insurance that our muscles stayed relaxed. The house is literally right on one of the runs for the Kokomo lift. I"m surprised that there aren't broken windows from out of control skiers! Unfortunately for us, we went too early in the season and that run was not open yet :( Speaking of windows, I think the entire house is made of windows. Ok, that's an exaggeration, but there were amazing views of the mountain."

  • Very Nice Condo with great location for Summit County Access

"This is one of the nicer condos in the area. It is a very quiet complex, with easy access, ample storage, and underground parking. Being centrally located to all that Summit county has to offer is also a bonus. We were able to hit 5 different mountains on our EPIC pass and get away from the crowds after a day on the slopes. This condo is very roomy, high end furniture and kitchen, with plenty of parking. There is also quick access to shopping and to Hwy 9 and I-70."

  • excellent experience

"We've traveled to numerous ski destinations over the years, but Steamboat is now our favourite! This condo suited our needs perfectly, was exceptionally clean, well equipped and well located. Although just a short walk to the gondola, walking in ski boots is never easy, so we opted for the convenience of a locker at the base...definitely worth it. The condo itself was very comfortable and a new king bed in the master bedroom was heavenly. The complimentary shuttle was also very convenient and we were able to manage just fine without a car. On a final note, dealing with Kim at Condos in Steamboat was a pleasure from start to finish. She was most helpful throughout our planning stages and even came to our rescue after we experienced numerous flight delays and lost luggage! We definitely hope to return again!"

  • Hidden Gem

"We are staying up here now and I wanted to go ahead and review this fabulous place! It has everything, both in the condo and at the accompanying resort - washer/dryer, dishwasher, dishes, jetted bathtubs, humidifiers in every room, ski valet, hot tubs, a spa, workout facilities, gourmet dining options on-site and oh ya, a ski mountain right outside your doorstep. We have been extremely pleased with the service and the property since we've arrived and felt I needed to let the people of the internet know that this place is terrific! :)"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
