  • Location Location Location!

"That is what we look for when staying in the high country. We have stayed at many places in the high country and found this to be just what we are looking for. The access from the village condos is perfect for heading out and enjoying the summer and winter activities with ease of stopping back for lunch and some relaxation and heading back out for some more time on the slopes. The condos are very spacious, great for entertaining before heading out to dinner and a night out in the village. We continue to check the vrbo calender for available dates when booking our mountain vacations and would recommend others to do the same it is an awesome place to stay."

  • Fabulous Christmas Vacation in a comfortably beautiful townhome! Convenient to slopes!

"We spent the week before Christmas at this beautiful home! We were a family of six with varying interest in skiing, so a lot of time was spent in this lovely place! I truly enjoyed being able to get away to the master bedroom with views of the snow and my very one fireplace! The jacuzzi tub was awesome after a day on the slopes. The kitchen was used extensively and was fabulous! The built-in humidifier was a great asset to reduce the normal dry skin issues I usually experience at high altitudes! The owner was very attentive and checked in to make sure all was well! The heated ski locker near the lift was awesome! We LOVED THIS PLACE! The garage with the elevator right next to the assigned spot and directly outside the door of the unit is quite convenient. TVs in every room! This was better than expected and would love to stay here again!"

  • Great Stay for Thanksgiving

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Buffalo Lodge for the week of Thanksgiving. It was a great stay. The condo was clean and well appointed. We had not complaints. We are a family of five with all children above 13 years old. The full size bunk beds and Murphy bed were perfect for our family. Location was great as it was convenient to restaurants, bars and ski lifts. We highly recommend this condo and Summit County Mountain Rentals."

  • Ski house

"House is in good shape and centrally located for short drive to major ski areas. Indoor hot tub is a plus for those who don't want to venture outside. TVs could use an update to HDTVs"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
