  • Great place to stay in Tabernash

"The house is a nice, clean, newer looking house in a great part of Tabernash. It's easy to find, easy to access and just down the street from Devil's Thumb, Fraser Tubing Hill and the Winter Park and Granby ski areas. The house has a hot tub and pool table and our boys enjoyed the open living room/dining room as they played board games and built lego sets. We will hopefully be staying here again the future if availability aligns with our planned travel dates!"

  • Great place, Great location

"Beautiful, spacious spot on the road between downtown Breckenridge and the lifts. I walked into town and back each day we were there. Clean, very nicely furnished and decorated and has a great hot tub. Easy walking distance to the gondola lift's midway point. We will stay there again!"

  • Easy family vacation

"Good location, convenient amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Not ski in/out friendly for new skiers but so close to Beaver Run/Base of Peak Nine lifts, it's hard to complain. Space was perfect for family with younger kids. Lots of things to do even if you don't ski. We wish we could have stayed one more week!"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
