Exceptionally Clean, Well Maintained, Wonderfully Peaceful Setting, Great Views!
"My first of what will be many rentals of this property. Very accurately represented, a tranquil environment with lots of friendly wildlife in the neighborhood. Great instructions from the Owners, what more does one need?"

"We found and selected this home for our "First Annual Family Reunion without a Funeral or Wedding". The location sits right on the banks of the Arkansas River. The amenities are splendid with a huge back deck overlooking the river, horse shoe pit, huge fire pit, and plenty of hiking locations to choose from. We have already reserved our time here for the "Second Annual Family Reunion without a Funeral or Wedding" next fall. The place worked well for us. Plenty of space to sit an watch the mountains and river. Room to all eat at the table. Room to spread out or get close. We loved it. Thanks for making it perfect."

A Quaint Home in a Quirky Town With the Best of Friends
"If you're looking for a place to gather to enjoy friends or family, to feel cozy and welcome, to feel like you belong and are a local of a town far, far away- this is the place for you! From board games to linens to dishes to charm this house has it all! The owners also seem to be exceptionally wonderful people (and we suspect the authors of a very informative guide to Manitou)! SO COOL! We walked into town about a dozen times a day (and found ourselves gasping for air walking back up the hill...the altitude change for us was a killer until the last day, ha!), whether for a cup of coffee, a slice of pizza, a quarter game of ski ball, or for souvenirs. We ooh'd and ahh'd at the views of a snow-topped Pikes Peak tucked behind the school across the street. We marveled at the nooks and crannies of the home (we peaked at the top floor-a perfect retreat for young kids of a family!) and the adorable details in the doors and windows. We slept like babies in 3 of the cozy second-floor rooms. The house is not new and has seen a bit of love, wear, and tear over the years, but it is truly lovely and a great place to rest your head while enjoying all Manitou has to offer (Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds-all within 10 minutes...or less!). If you're like us...you may find the home is so convenient that you literally only sleep and shower there and are out exploring your scenic surroundings your entire trip! But regardless- if you book here- you're bound to fall in love and have a wonderful time! :)"

"Our group of three couples rented this beautiful home while we attended a wedding in Colorado Springs and had a wonderful visit staying in this home. The house was very spacious with great views and a central location in terms of getting to events, restaurants, and sites around the city. We also loved the local wildlife that came right up to the house throughout our visit. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was most certainly the highlight along with the fireplace in the main living area, and updated master sauna tub and shower. The owner was very easy to correspond with and even accommodated us easily on a few things before check in. Would recommend this home to anyone, especially for a large group as the house was well laid out to accommodate large groups. The only negative (if you can even call it that) was the older TV's in the home, no HD flat screens, and very limited cable package. But you don't really spend much time watching TV in such a beautiful city!"
