"This is a cute, historic rental and was priced well compared to many others we looked at. The hot tub and garden/patio areas were great, and the breakfast food Jackie left for us was more than enough (we had breakfast for several days actually). The garden is so charming, and it was relaxing to sit and read on the shaded front porch, also. There are some things that come along with an older home (creaky floors, old plaster on the bathroom ceiling looked like it could crumble anytime), but these were very minor things that are just part of being in an older home. The kitchen has a nice set of dishes, shower had a nice waterfall style showerhead, and as I mentioned, the breakfast was very generous. We would stay there again if we went back to Colorado Springs."

"We had a wonderful stay at rivercrest. We have been to south fork many times but had never stayed in this house. The fishing was great right behind the house. The house was very well equipped and clean. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The property feels secluded but is in a very convenient location. All of the beds were comfy Except the queen bed in the guest room. We love south fork and will continue to visit every summer and will definitely try to stay in this house again."

"Wonderful property with top-notch amenities. We stayed mid-July with extended family and had a blast. Went into breckenridge several times, went fishing, made the 1 1/2 hr drive to pikes peak. The house is in a great location, really close to FairPlay for groceries and breakfast/lunch out if you don't feel like cooking and only about a 15-20 minute drive to breckenridge for a night out or shopping. The kids enjoyed all the summer activities on the ski slopes of breckenridge including kids rope course, slide, mini golf and zip lining to name a few. We were traveling with small kids so flew into Denver and rented a car. It was not a bad drive at all and very scenic. Would definitely recommend, especially for those trying to get a little reprieve from the summer heat like us! Weather was beautiful!"

"We recently stayed in this wonderful home. It is spacious and the location is in the most beautiful setting. The view is breath taking. We had visitors from age 2 - 73. The hosts, had everything you could need. There was a well stocked pantry with all of your household needs. There were many things nearby to go see and do. The Eleven Mile Canyon is a must see. The grocery store in Divide was a pleasant surprise. Great service, great prices and everything you might need. We were beyond pleased with this home. You will love this vacation home!!!! Thank you Burkholders!!! We will definitely return!!!"
