"This was a great cabin for the 8 of us. Last time we were skiing at Wolf Creek we stayed in Pagosa Springs and Alpine Accents was so much better. It was very easy to get to the ski area about 10 minutes up the road. "Goat" came by to check on us and was friendly and asked if we needed anything. I would Highly Recommend staying at Alpine Accents.
A few things to note:
- There are plenty of towels. Our teenagers didn't do a great job of reusing them sometimes but the washer/dryer in the cabin helped us keep them fresh and clean.
- There was no soap or shampoo in the bathrooms. We made a quick trip (about 10-15 minute drive) into South Fork to Rainbow Grocery for supplies and picked some up there.
- There are no humidifiers in the cabin. Liz suggested that we put a pot of water on the wood-burning stove, which we did. However, this is not nearly as effective as a couple of well-placed humidifiers would have been. I would recommend bringing one (at least) if you can.
- We couldn't find any linens for the sleeper sofa. We found 1 extra pillow and 2 extra blankets. I'm sure Liz and Goat would have been glad to bring us some if we'd asked but the teens sleeping on it didn't seem all that bothered by it.
All in all, an excellent option for the Wolf Creek area."

"Wonderful home in the middle of it all. Easy walk from house to downtown. Enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning drinking coffee or laying in the hammock in the afternoon breeze. Plenty of room for the whole family. Note: keep trash can in garage, bears roaming area dumping trash cans."

"Our group of three couples rented this beautiful home while we attended a wedding in Colorado Springs and had a wonderful visit staying in this home. The house was very spacious with great views and a central location in terms of getting to events, restaurants, and sites around the city. We also loved the local wildlife that came right up to the house throughout our visit. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was most certainly the highlight along with the fireplace in the main living area, and updated master sauna tub and shower. The owner was very easy to correspond with and even accommodated us easily on a few things before check in. Would recommend this home to anyone, especially for a large group as the house was well laid out to accommodate large groups. The only negative (if you can even call it that) was the older TV's in the home, no HD flat screens, and very limited cable package. But you don't really spend much time watching TV in such a beautiful city!"
