"Three generations of my family, including members from ages 5-67 spent a long weekend at this property. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The space was laid out well for large and small-group activities. The children were especially delighted with the "secret" 3rd floor room! Many kid-friendly activities are located a short distance from the property. We had a wonderful weekend!"

  • Bear Paw

"This cabin was more than we expected. From the warm lights as we pulled in, to the inviting fireplace and the lit Christmas tree. This was "home away from home" and has everything you need. The location makes it great for excursions into the Springs or into the mountains, and modern amenities are only minutes away. A great breakfast at The Pantry is a short walk away, past the pond full of waterfowl and a charming gazebo. Bear Paw made my return trip home, after so many years away, all the more pleasant. I would recommend Bear Paw to couples and families alike. The property was clean, properly maintained, and ready to make your trip all the worth while."

  • Nice family rental with awesome views of the mountains

"This is a very good rental for a family and/or a larger group of people. There were 6 of us during our stay (me, wife, 3 kids and mother-in-law) and it was plenty big. In fact, we could have had a lot more people stay with us. There are three bedrooms, 2 full baths and one half bath. In addition to the three bedrooms, there is a walkout basement and a loft that both have pull out sofa beds. The master bedroom had a queen sized bed; another bedroom had a full (or queen sized bed) and that last bedroom had two twin beds. There is both a hot tub and a sauna at the home. We used both. The views of the mountains from the hottub were amazing. The home is also fully stocked with lots of towels, sheets, pots & pans, silverware, a coffee pot, games, a DVD player, DirecTV satellite, and one of the most important things for us - WIFI. There are two different gas grills to use. The walkout basement is pretty much like a 4th bedroom (my teenage daughter "called it" as soon as we walked in the home). There are also built-in heaters in at least two of the bathrooms. We didn't need those . . . but I can see that being a nice option if someone stayed in the home during colder times of the year. There is a nice bar area in which to sit and there is a big table with seating for 10-12. I only have a couple of "knocks" on the property. First, the floors weren't swept or mopped when we got there. Part of this may have been attributed to us getting there an hour or so early. But it seemed like the maid was leaving when we got there. Not sure. To be fair, though, the property manager did let us in the home before the "check in" time in the contract. and the sheets & pillows are a little dated. The other thing: the sheets & pillows are a little dated. Again, neither of these was a big deal for us. We would stay there again. We also felt that the rental cost was reasonable compared to similar rentals and that it was a good value for the money spent."

  • Perfect Holiday House

"Our stay at the house was perfect! My family was visiting from Florida and it was a great location for them to feel like they were in the mountains. They were able to see deer daily roaming around, and go on hikes just 2 blocks away. The house had everything we needed, and Mark was so easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. It was so close to everything as well. My dog had a blast there too! We ended up naming it "The Holiday House". I would recommend for anyone who is trying to explore Colorado Springs and still have a pleasant home to get to in the evening."
