"What a grand time we had.... we surprised our family with a winter holiday ... The little girls were in awe of the loft and claimed it as their own...the cabin was very clean and welcoming... the fireplace added an extra dose of cozy .. the location so close to skiing was such a treat ski hard and in less than ten minutes you are back at the cabin.... a wonderful retreat..."

"The house was great for our family in that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. We found out that the house use to be a bed and breakfast! The decor on the 1st and 3rd floors were wonderful. The main floor with the kitchen was a little outdated, but the view from the balcony was spectacular. We cooked each night and I did have to go to the Dollar General in town and buy a few pots, but was still cheaper than taking the whole family out to dinner each night.
The only down side to this house is that it is not close to town or many activities. I had people from 7 months to 30 years and there wasn't a lot of hiking around the house. We were 40 minutes from Breckinridge and about 15 minutes from Fairplay, but the kids would have like having something they could walk to. I didn't really understand that when I booked the house. That was my fault, not theirs. I had a few questions for the owner and he emailed me promptly back when we were there.
I would recommend this house for couples and families that don't mind driving each day to activities. I was glad that the 7 month old wasn't walking, because I would have really worried about him on the deck."

"We loved our stay at The Inn at Potter's Inn / Aspen's Ridge! What a great place! Everything is nice, and the staff have an exceptional knack for decorating and furnishing the facility in just the right way, filling it with beauty that is refreshing. The spacious sitting area around the huge wood fireplace, and under the massive wood beams is beautiful! The staff are great, warm and attentive to details. I recommend it whole heartedly!!"
