"We stayed at Jim's place in late May. Jim is very responsive to emails and inquiries, and the booking process was very easy. The house is located on the west side of town, and is generally in a quiet location. We did hear music playing from a nearby bar Saturday night when the windows were open, but that was easily fixed by plugging in a fan. Jim thought of everything - the small touches can make or break a stay, and Jim provides the small touches. Kleenex in the bedrooms, ceiling fans, rags under the sink, an extra fan in the closet, a desk with good lighting - if we needed it, it was there. We also appreciated the king sized bed. I am looking forward to my next stay at Jim's house!"

"This was a very nice, clean cabin but it was not exactly as we expected. The back of the cabin faced the road and the walk down to the creek was down through the owner's property own home property and not as close to the cabin as described. We were also told, in writing, by one of the owners we could use their personal fire pit with our children at least one night since the cabin did not have one. Once there, the spouse of that owner refused our continued requests to use the fire pit, which was one of the things we most wanted in a mountain location. Additionally, wifi was horrible and there is no cell service at this location. While we were there to "get away" we did need to be able to maintain contact with home for personal reasons and we had to drive down the mountain each night to be able to do so. Wifi was one thing guaranteed in the description as well. On the flip side, it is a beautiful location, the owner was very friendly, the cabin was very pretty and well built, and the setting was quite relaxing. Just not all we had hoped it would be."

"First of, Michelle is great. She is responsive and answered all my inquiries very quickly.
The cabin is great. We stayed for 2 nights, two families with kids and we loved it. It is relatively remoted from town, yet less than 15 minutes to get there if you need something.
Everything was clean, organized and well taken care of. The kitchen has most of the tools you can think about, and the best part was the grill and porch.
The bath on the main floor is an old Victorian style bath. Although it is very impressive and romantic, it is less useful with kids and families. That's it.
Again, thanks a lot."
