"After being welcomed by Katie, who is an absolute pleasure, she gave us a tour of the cabin and grounds. We immediately saw that this was even better than we expected! Besides it being a great location with great views, it was also incredibly clean especially for a cabin built in the 1940's! The calming sound of the river can be heard in the cabin with a door open which was so peaceful and tranquil. The beds were all comfortable and we all slept well, but waking up to having coffee on the front deck was the best! Or was having coffee on the swing by the river? Both were spectacular! We were there with another couple to go 4-wheeling and what a great location for that! Less than a mile away was the trail head for Mt. Antero so we headed up and had lunch with majestic views! We also went to went into Buena Vista to go on the trail called 4 mile. Staying 3 nights was not enough because there is so much to do in the area. Mt. Princeton hot springs is super close to the cabin which we need to do next time...yes, there will be a next time! And we also want to go into BV to go white water rafting as well as hiking & biking numerous trails. There is wi-fi available if you "have" to connect, but you will probably be too busy having fun to need it! The kitchen is well stocked and having a grill that was both propane or charcoal was appreciated as we grilled our dinners. Curt and Katie also have wood bundles for sale if you want a fire in the fireplace or an outdoor fire, so we enjoyed cozy fires each night. It's obvious by the condition of the home that Curt and Katie take excellent care of their property and we were honored to get to stay there. They were a pleasure to get to know and helpful with everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"We came to the area 10 years ago on our honeymoon and came back this summer to show our kids and in laws just how beautiful Colorado is. This cabin did the trick. The view is breathtaking and the sound of running water from the amazing covered porch just seals the deal. 4 adults and 2 kids in this cabin fit perfectly. Comfortable and just amazing is the way I would describe this cabin. Will recommend over and over again."

"What a wonderful cabin to visit. It was clean, comfortable, and secluded (yet close enough to other cabins if needed). Even though there were a few other cabins around, it was still private and very quiet. We heard coyotes in the distance on our first night and watching the stars from the hot tub on the deck was indescribable. Things were easily labeled to find and while they did have cable and satellite tv, it's not needed as you can choose various other activities - relaxing on the porch as you can watch the sunset behind the mountains, listening to the stream, seeing Pike's Peak in the distance, or reading by the gas fireplace on the cool nights. It was close enough to town and price was extremely reasonable. We're so grateful we were able to experience Pike's Peak Resort."

"My husband and I stayed for a week in Eagle's Nest Cabin. It was welcoming, clean and very comfortable. It had all the amenities one needs when away from home.
The setting in the mountains was perfect. Sunrises and sunsets, wildlife, and quiet.
