"This is not the first time we have rented this home and it wont be the last. Colorado Springs is part of our lives now as our son attends the Air Force Academy. This house has become part of the memories we are creating as we experience the Academy through him. We all look forward to our time in the Springs, partially because of this house and the wonderful and welcoming ways of the owners. Everything you can possibly need is provided by the owners. They have even accommodated us by placing an additional bed within one of the upstairs bedrooms each time we have rented the home. Incredibly generous and thoughtful. They provide amazing suggestions of things to do in the area. It's almost as if one or both of them has been in the hospitality business for much of their lives, which I do not believe to be the case. They seem to think of everything. As mentioned by other reviewers, the home is in an absolutely idyllic location, but equally important, is how at home the owners make you feel. That makes the experience all the better. We will continue to rent the home as long as they will have us each and every time we come back to the Springs for an extended stay. The owners take great pride in their home and it shows."

"We enjoyed out stay the pictures really didn't to the house justice, everyone had their space and then some
enjoyed playing pool in the garage. I liked that there was info on places to see and eat at the house made for easy planning of activities. House was in a very nice quite neighborhood, enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio in the mornings. Had a wonderful vacation in Colorado Springs !!"

"This is a cute, historic rental and was priced well compared to many others we looked at. The hot tub and garden/patio areas were great, and the breakfast food Jackie left for us was more than enough (we had breakfast for several days actually). The garden is so charming, and it was relaxing to sit and read on the shaded front porch, also. There are some things that come along with an older home (creaky floors, old plaster on the bathroom ceiling looked like it could crumble anytime), but these were very minor things that are just part of being in an older home. The kitchen has a nice set of dishes, shower had a nice waterfall style showerhead, and as I mentioned, the breakfast was very generous. We would stay there again if we went back to Colorado Springs."

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this home. It is in a great location, close to several attractions. It is only minutes from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, etc. We REALLY loved the open space and reservior that was walking distance from the house. We loved going on hikes with our dog up the reservior for her to swim. It was absolutely gorgeous! It is located on a gravel road with a few deep pot holes but nothing that would deter us from renting this home again. It was a quiet street."
