  • Totally met our needs...

"We stayed at the property for my son's graduation from the USAFA. Our biggest complaint was that his busy schedule did not allow us to actually relax and have time to enjoy the property and all the area had to offer. First of all let me say that working with the property owner, Mark, was so easy and enjoyable. From my first call wanting specific details, to booking and paying, to checking out, Mark promptly responded to each call or email. There was plenty of seating for family gatherings both indoors and outdoors. We barbecued one night (the grill was clean and with fuel) and enjoyed the backyard. There was seating in the front to watch the deer that visited daily. Inside there were 4 couches in the living room so the entire family and friends could visit together. The kitchen was clean and spacious and had all utensils, pots and pans we needed. The beds in the master bedroom and downstairs room were very comfortable with good pillows. Young people/children totally love the "nooks and crannies" of the upstairs rooms. There was plenty of hot water and adequate pressure in the showers. Bathrooms were also very clean. The upstairs bathroom/shower was small but it added to the uniqueness of the unit. There is so much to do nearby...we walked to the Broadmoor and the coffee shop. We also walked along the creek which is about a mile away (I think). We enjoyed Old Colorado Springs and had a great Greek dinner at Jake n Telly's. Away from the immediate are, we visited Florissant National Monument and did some rock climbing in a nearby canyon. Getting to the Academy was very easy and we never experienced awful traffic on the freeway that some warned us about. The property has a very "relaxed " feel. The grounds are not manicured but more natural. Inside is not "posh" but comfortable and warm. The only guests that would be "challenged" with this unit are seniors or those with mobility disabilities. This unit has 3 levels with narrow stairs. (The stair entries do have doors so you can keep toddlers with you on the main floor.) Also, we had two men who were well over 6 feet tall. They had to learn (the hard way) to watch their heads when doing the stairs. They joked about the small upstairs bathroom, but felt it was fun and not a deterrent. We had a great family vacation in COS staying in this unit. Many wonderful memories were created."

  • Great place

"This was a very nice place to stay. The home was clean and very well stocked with bedding, dishes, etc. We even were able to barbeque outside on a very nice gas grill. I would recommend this property to anyone who wishes to stay in the Colorado Springs area."

  • Everything promised and more!

"Wanting a fun weekend to unwind, I booked this wonderful house and was so glad that I did! While close to downtown restaurants and shops, I felt secluded in luxury and pampered at the house. Clean, well appointed, and decorated without missing a detail. Plus ample room inside and out, I would return without hesitation!"

  • Old North End Find

"My husband and I rented this cottage while in COS for our daughter's RN pinning. We couldn't have been more thrilled with this property. The house was spotless upon our arrival, well stocked, and extremely comfortable. The first morning breakfast is such a nice idea; it was very gracious and appreciated. Our Scotties loved the front room windows for neighborhood watching while we enjoyed the view of Pikes Peak from the back and having a private fenced back yard made it the perfect pet friendly place to stay. And then there's Jackie who absolutely took care of everything and was available immediately to answer any questions. Thanks so such; we'll be seeing you again."
