"My family, including children age 2 and 5, very much enjoyed our stay at the Pikes Peak Cottage. The location of the house is very convenient to the wonderful attractions in the area, and is on a nice, quiet street. The house was very clean and cozy and offered all of the amenities we needed for our week-long stay. Above and beyond the necessities, there were also toys and videos that my kids really enjoyed and helped make some of our rainy afternoons much more fun.
Our family very much enjoyed touring the immediate area, and also branching out to some of the attractions a little farther out. We spent time at Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy. We enjoyed the drive up Pike's Peak on a very clear, sunny day and also drove out to Cripple Creek and the Royal Gorge Bridge. Lots of fun, family activities that we all enjoyed. My husband and son also played glow-in-the-dark mini-golf and I took the challenge of climbing up the Manitou Incline.
Overall we really enjoyed our time in Colorado Springs and we loved the convenience of the location of the Pikes Peak Cottage. Thank you Julia!"

"Excellent location; friendly owners and neighbors; beautiful surroundings. The cottage is very intimate and vintage but has 2 large comfortable bedrooms on upper level. Flat screen TV's in living room and each bedroom. Abundant closet space. Best part: washer and dryer! One full bathroom on ground floor off of the living room and 1 powder room on the 2nd floor but only accessible to one bedroom. We had 5 adults so yes, it was tight, but perfect for everything else. Well appointed kitchen. Clean house with clean linens and kitchenware, We really liked it and would recommend it for family with kids. Oh yes, pet friendly!"

"The location of the house was great - very convenient to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Cave of the Winds, etc. We had a group of 14 and the house was comfortable. It is unclear in the listing that the house is actually four levels with four small, narrow staircases between floors. The carpet on the stairs is a little hazardous so be careful if you have any guests with mobility issues. The outdoor space is wonderful, we really enjoyed the trampoline and sports court. Overall, a good experience."
