"Our stay at this vacation rental was wonderful. The house was very roomy and very well equipped. We were a party of nine adults - no one tripped over each other and everyone could have there own get away space. The house is surrounded by decks and is pretty secluded. You could watch the wildlife (mostly deer and rabbits) from the deck or from the inside (massive windows all around). On a nice day, Pikes Peak is very visible from the house, especially the front deck. You can go on a little hike up to the top of the hill and also get some really nice views of Pikes Peak and some interesting rock formations on the property. The theater room sofa will fit 7 people, plus there are 4 bar stools in the room. There are 2 1/2 baths upstairs and 2 full baths down. We had no problem not having enough bathrooms for our party of nine. There is also a garden at your disposal - although it had been hailed on so we didn't get a chance to use it. The only thing you may want to know if you have elderly that have problems with stairs - the only walk in shower is on the lower level (not the main level). The other 3 showers are the tub/shower combo. Another cool feature - this house has an indoor koi pond. It has a really good sized gold one and a white one. They were fun to watch - if you have kids, they would enjoy feeding them. The hot tub is outside on the deck. Sometimes it would stop working, but it seemed like a small thing compared to all the other wonderful attributes this house had to offer. We also were able to gather some smaller sticks (lots of old dead branches laying about on the several acres this house is on) and have a fire in the fire pit to roast marsh mellows in the evening. Good times for all!"

"Stayed for 2 nights with some friends as we attended a men's retreat. The location is great, close to Woodland Park yet out of town enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains. It was very comfortable and clean with a nice kitchen, hot shower and plenty of linens. Everything was well stocked and in great shape."

"Arrived and felt right at home. Every consideration was thought through for the out of town guests, even a large washer and dryer; and no cheap hair dryer in the bath room, very nice. The linens were 5 star quality, we felt so pampered! Had family members with us the first couple of nights and were NOT cramped for space. The kitchen had all the necessary items for making meals, refrigerator had ice maker and filtered water dispenser. The guest cottage is centrally located in Colorado Springs and we had no problem getting to Glen Eyrie, Garden of the gods, Focus on the Family, and great shopping on N.Academy Blvd. Karen gave some recommendations to some amazing restaurants! My favorite was a 'hole in the wall' place around the corner that served the cheesiest lasagna I have ever had! Unlike a hotel, it was located in a quiet neighborhood, making it a nice place just to relax. A real 'get away'!"
