  • Holiday ski trip

"This is a wonderful, family and pet friendly cabin (upstairs) and the owner was very accommodating. We had an easy trip to the ski area and also easy access to groceries, etc in South Fork. We loved being able to bring our dogs and cook and play games at night after skiing. This is a fantastic place to stay and we will definitely come back!"

  • Beautiful, peaceful place!

"This cabin suited us perfectly! It is cozy and comfortable and so quaint! The twin bed with the trundle worked perfectly for our two small children. We enjoyed fires in the fireplace and outside, and exploring the beautiful area. Everything is so peaceful here, and the sound of the creek rushing by is a perfect lullaby. We found all kinds of things to do in the area with the kids, but our favorite thing was to hang around the cabin and enjoy the atmosphere. We hope to come back soon!"

  • Beyond already-high expectations

"Having seen the photos, we were ready to be impressed, and were not disappointed. Already lots of discussion here about this view, but it truly does have to be experienced to get the full effect. We were fortunate enough to be there in early September with near perfect weather, and were treated to a morning view of magnificent snow-capped peaks for a full 180 degrees (the house is perfectly situated to get the max impact of the view through the giant rear window wall, as well as the deck). Years ago we spent some time in the Swiss Alps, and it's not an exaggeration to say this section of the Rockies stands up pretty well in the comparison. Go and enjoy, you'll be glad you did."

Creede Travel Tips

Canon City Vacation Rentals Place You Near a Variety of Attractions

Creede, Colorado is located in the La Garita Caldera, a geological wonder formed millions of years ago in the same volcanic eruption that created the mesmerizing Wheeler Geologic Area. Everything else about Creede is equally intriguing and unique, from its natural wonders to its designation as one of the 100 Best Art Towns in America. Whatever your interest, Creede vacation rentals make visiting Creede a rewarding and relaxing experience.

Creede Lodgings Provide Comfort in Nature

Creede got its start in 1889 when Nicholas Creede, who was just passing through, stopped for lunch and discovered what became the Holy Moses Mine. Today the entire town has been declared a National Historic District. Some particularly interesting attractions include the underground fire station and the renowned Creede Repertory Theatre. The Bachelor Loop provides a great introduction to the history and scenery rampant within Creed. Of course, Creed's central location to the Silver Thread Scenic Byway , South Fork, Rio Grande, Palisades, Clear Creek Falls, Slumgullion Earthflow, Lake San Cristobal, West Elk Scenic Byway (US 50), Lake City, and Blue Mesa Reservoir also makes Creede a great base camp for surrounding regions. After an intriguing day of adventure, Creede lodgings provide a cozy, comfortable, and inviting vacation home.

Creede Lodging Makes Renting the Best Option for Your Colorado Vacation

Creede is part of Mineral County, which is 95 percent national forest and public access lands with alpine valleys, clear streams, high mountains, and the La Garita and Weminuche Wilderness Areas, rimmed by the Continental Divide. So, why experience this open natural atmosphere in a cramped hotel room? Creede vacation rentals offer spacious accommodations that allow visitors to enjoy the natural wonders of Colorado in comfort and style.
