  • Best Wedding Destination Imaginable!

"When my wife and I decided to have our wedding Colorado, we knew family and friends would have to travel from the East Coast. We wanted to have everything taken care of some people could come out and relax and make the wedding a multi-day reunion and coming together of two families. We looked at many house and just were not finding what we were looking for, such as views, space, privacy, handicap accessible, and affordability. Once we came to The Lodge at Elk Valley and met the owner we were blown away. Not only where the views breathtaking, but no one else we talked to was this friendly, genuine or willing to help two young people. This guy is awesome and he really cares, can't say enough good things about him. The house is handicap accessible too, which is great for old family members and people who have trouble getting around. Also, the lodge has tables, chairs, and perfect wedding decorations, savings renters even more money on their wedding. If you are looking for a destination wedding or an amazing family reunion spot, there is no better place!"

  • Loft in Salida

"The check-in process is seamless! when we arrived we found the loft to be exactly what was promised...convenient to everything in old town, clean, beautiful views, and very comfortable. The location is optimal, we walked to everything we did from dinner, shopping, and even a needed trip to Safeway late at night....it was just a quick walk away. The owners provide a great guide to help with everything from how to use the TV to what local eateries are the best to try. We would definitely rent this loft again!"

  • Your Every Need Is Met at the Dome House

"I was looking for a place to: celebrate my anniversary of 7 years, a birthday for the wonderful spouse, a cure for a heartache that took place 5 days before we left – a sudden empty stall at the horse barn – and my favorite – a place to do nothing for a few days. We arrived at the Dome house as planned, the heartache way still too fresh. Tucked in the hill, there sat the dome. Throughout the next 4 days, my wife and I let the house do it’s magic. The first night set the scene. A Natural Geographic episode of a star studded night that included 2 shooting stars. The whole northern sky was visible from the deck. In the next 3 days we did relax, the hurt was not so present, we did nothing and had a great time being in love. Between the two of us, we’ve been in residential real estate sales for a combined 45 + years and this place is very special. If you are looking for a vacation that has all the advantages of being close to vacation land USA and all the activities but gives you the choice of doing absolutely nothing but enjoying nature with no one around – Check out The Dome House in Canon City, Fremont County, Colorado"

  • Great location

"Perfect place to stay. Able to walk right downtown to all the shops and restaurants. Nice to sit out back and watch all the activities on the river. Only thing possibly needed was a dresser in the master bedroom. Couches have been updated. Our family of 4 had an awesome vacation."

Creede Travel Tips

Canon City Vacation Rentals Place You Near a Variety of Attractions

Creede, Colorado is located in the La Garita Caldera, a geological wonder formed millions of years ago in the same volcanic eruption that created the mesmerizing Wheeler Geologic Area. Everything else about Creede is equally intriguing and unique, from its natural wonders to its designation as one of the 100 Best Art Towns in America. Whatever your interest, Creede vacation rentals make visiting Creede a rewarding and relaxing experience.

Creede Lodgings Provide Comfort in Nature

Creede got its start in 1889 when Nicholas Creede, who was just passing through, stopped for lunch and discovered what became the Holy Moses Mine. Today the entire town has been declared a National Historic District. Some particularly interesting attractions include the underground fire station and the renowned Creede Repertory Theatre. The Bachelor Loop provides a great introduction to the history and scenery rampant within Creed. Of course, Creed's central location to the Silver Thread Scenic Byway , South Fork, Rio Grande, Palisades, Clear Creek Falls, Slumgullion Earthflow, Lake San Cristobal, West Elk Scenic Byway (US 50), Lake City, and Blue Mesa Reservoir also makes Creede a great base camp for surrounding regions. After an intriguing day of adventure, Creede lodgings provide a cozy, comfortable, and inviting vacation home.

Creede Lodging Makes Renting the Best Option for Your Colorado Vacation

Creede is part of Mineral County, which is 95 percent national forest and public access lands with alpine valleys, clear streams, high mountains, and the La Garita and Weminuche Wilderness Areas, rimmed by the Continental Divide. So, why experience this open natural atmosphere in a cramped hotel room? Creede vacation rentals offer spacious accommodations that allow visitors to enjoy the natural wonders of Colorado in comfort and style.
