"The lazy river ranch is a great place to disconnect from the hurried, frenzied city life. I was glad to be without Internet access but my husband was not. This was probably one of the few times we have been disconnected from the Internet. The home was beautiful and the surrounding scenery was gorgeous. New took little side trips to explore Colorado and it was a bit far from many places but the drive to and from was fantastic. The house was situated on beautiful property. It was very lush and rustic. Only drawback, which is no fault of the owner, was the dreaded mosquitos. Even these were not as bad as the Texas ones. Would go back for a relaxing vacation."

"My 6 year old son and I spent a few days here and it was amazing! It was hard to convince my son to go do anything else, because he "needed to stay and drive his train." Lynda was an excellent host and went out of her way to make us feel at home. The "do not disturb" breakfast was perfect and allowed us to get up and head out on our days adventures with our bellies full! The train is very comfortable and has everything you need. In fact, out of our whole week in Colorado, we both slept the best in the train! We can't wait to come back and stay again."

"This is a great location to rent, particularly for those like us engaging graduation activities at the USAF Academy. We had the additional complication of having our pets along, so this pet-friendly place was ideal. The location is very private, and yet getting to town quickly was simple, and activities at the Academy were 15-20 minutes away maximum! We were able to host many people at our post-graduation get-together and there was ample parking and room for all to comfortably visit! The owners kindly supplied us with extra chairs and a couple of picnic tables to improve our party preparations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it felt like home to us!"

"Stayed for the Fourth of July and most of the following week.
Great place with lots of living space (indoor and outdoor), updated bathrooms and a newer, functional kitchen. Enough kitchen essentials for easy cooking, and the large dining room table came in handy for large group meals. Plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper (all the stuff you could easily overlook).
Check-in an check-out were easy and well coordinated, and there was a nearby place to take garbage.
Overall, an easy four stars for value, cleanliness, functionality and location. Made it easy to entertain family and friends, and focus on the fun things to do around South Fork.
