  • A Godsend

"Lori--I want to tell you how well your house on Sahwatch worked out for my siblings during their visit in July. It was just perfect--sparkling clean and comfortable. Most of the time, we were all on the go, but your quaint Victorian was the ideal place for them to sleep and prepare for sightseeing. We gathered there for supper one evening and watched TV to relax. Another evening, we sat outside and enjoyed the cool evening breezes. They walked their little dog in the neighborhood and not only felt safe but were greeted by the neighbors, too. Thank you again."

  • An Iowa family

"The property was an excellent choice for a gathering of our children and grandchildren. The home was comfortable and spacious--appreciated all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The spacious kitchen made it easy to plan family meals (along with the grill, etc.) The proximity to the interstate, shopping center, and many area tourists spots make it an ideal location. We found the home clean and well supplied. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood. The view from the deck was fantastic."

  • Wonderful view

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The table extended to seat 10. The dance machine and table shuffle board were lots of fun. The kitchen was equipped with a good assortment of tools for cooking. Beds were comfortable. The only issue we would have liked to know about before making a payment, was that we might need a four wheel drive to get to the house if there was much snow. Luckily there was not much snow. Also, we couldn't find where to park extra cars, so just parked on the Main Street of town. The property was clean and well maintained. Manitou Springs was a fun little town to leisurely stroll around in and close. With some wonderful restaurants. I would recommend this house."

  • All it was made out to be, and more!

"This is a nice cozy cabin just the right size for a couple. It is everything the write-up says it is. Very comfortable, and the satellite TV makes a nice added feature since cell and internet service is very sketchy. (with Verizon we could get a text out on occasion, but it couldn't be counted on) But, best of all the view outside is spectacular! Altitude with Attitude was all we'd hoped for."

Creede Travel Tips

Canon City Vacation Rentals Place You Near a Variety of Attractions

Creede, Colorado is located in the La Garita Caldera, a geological wonder formed millions of years ago in the same volcanic eruption that created the mesmerizing Wheeler Geologic Area. Everything else about Creede is equally intriguing and unique, from its natural wonders to its designation as one of the 100 Best Art Towns in America. Whatever your interest, Creede vacation rentals make visiting Creede a rewarding and relaxing experience.

Creede Lodgings Provide Comfort in Nature

Creede got its start in 1889 when Nicholas Creede, who was just passing through, stopped for lunch and discovered what became the Holy Moses Mine. Today the entire town has been declared a National Historic District. Some particularly interesting attractions include the underground fire station and the renowned Creede Repertory Theatre. The Bachelor Loop provides a great introduction to the history and scenery rampant within Creed. Of course, Creed's central location to the Silver Thread Scenic Byway , South Fork, Rio Grande, Palisades, Clear Creek Falls, Slumgullion Earthflow, Lake San Cristobal, West Elk Scenic Byway (US 50), Lake City, and Blue Mesa Reservoir also makes Creede a great base camp for surrounding regions. After an intriguing day of adventure, Creede lodgings provide a cozy, comfortable, and inviting vacation home.

Creede Lodging Makes Renting the Best Option for Your Colorado Vacation

Creede is part of Mineral County, which is 95 percent national forest and public access lands with alpine valleys, clear streams, high mountains, and the La Garita and Weminuche Wilderness Areas, rimmed by the Continental Divide. So, why experience this open natural atmosphere in a cramped hotel room? Creede vacation rentals offer spacious accommodations that allow visitors to enjoy the natural wonders of Colorado in comfort and style.
