"We had a great stay at M4S Chalet for our summer get away. The accommodations were comfortable with plenty of room for three of us. My younger son and I took separate bedrooms on the second floor, while my older son slept in the top level/loft. Star gazing was great from the deck. The property manager was very accommodating with changes in our vacation. We enjoyed white water rafting on the Arkansas River, took a day trip to the Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls, checked out Cottonwood Hot Springs, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, and St. Elmo Ghost Town, and ate at K's Old Fashioned Burgers in Buena Vista and Moonlight Pizza in Salida. We have a total of five in our family, and would consider this rental for future vacations."

"We rented this unit for 1 night. The owners were very helpful, getting us check-in information at the last minute when we realized we had entered our email incorrectly. The unit is so beautiful and has everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Plus there is an amazing view of the mountains, as well as cruiser bikes to tour around town."

"We spent a week here for the 2015 USAFA Graduation. The home has a great location with respect to the Academy and it adequately accommodated our group of 14 adults. Since it is an older home, it looks a lot smaller from the outside but once we got inside, we were surprised at how much space it actually had. We were happy to find it very clean and equipped with a washer and dryer, iron and board, roll away bed, and with extra parking behind the home just to name a few things. One negative would be that the water faucets in the main floor bathroom were a little wobbly. However, when we made the owner aware, she quickly made a note of it to pass on to the handyman. The covered patio looks out onto the mountains and we found it to be a nice way to relax in the afternoons and evenings, weather permitting. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. However, be advised that cooking is a total effort in which you will need to purchase everything necessary to make a meal as there are no food preparation supplies (seasonings, spices, oil, etc) provided. This is probably common in these types of rentals, but was a new experience for us. The bright side was that it forced us to really relax and not get too caught up with cooking. Also we were able to visit the nearby Costco to purchase some breakfast items as well as other items. Another perk is that it is located within 5 miles of many restaurants and grocery stores. Lastly, the owner was accessible, always pleasant, and easy to work with."

"My husband and I stayed for a week in Eagle's Nest Cabin. It was welcoming, clean and very comfortable. It had all the amenities one needs when away from home.
The setting in the mountains was perfect. Sunrises and sunsets, wildlife, and quiet.
