"We stayed there for 3 nights. It was awesome place to get some vacation. We enjoyed a lot. Loved the house and the place.
The map works the best as the place does not really have a good reception for gps.
Property was clean and very welcoming."

"We found and selected this home for our "First Annual Family Reunion without a Funeral or Wedding". The location sits right on the banks of the Arkansas River. The amenities are splendid with a huge back deck overlooking the river, horse shoe pit, huge fire pit, and plenty of hiking locations to choose from. We have already reserved our time here for the "Second Annual Family Reunion without a Funeral or Wedding" next fall. The place worked well for us. Plenty of space to sit an watch the mountains and river. Room to all eat at the table. Room to spread out or get close. We loved it. Thanks for making it perfect."

"First time back to Colorado in 20 years we stayed in 3 different locations for our week long trip, this one was by far our favorite! I have a 14 year old daughter and 1 year old son and the place was very warm and inviting for all of us and the owners were SO nice and accommodating! The views are spectacular and my daughter loved the horses in the pasture! Very clean and affordable! I just can't say enough wonderful things! We will definitely be back soon! Thanks again for a wonderful experience!!! J.L."

Beautiful home and private hot springs icing on the cake
"My husband and I rented the home for our anniversary vacation. It was way too big for us, but we had fun pretending that we needed that much space! The home is beautiful and well-appointed without being pretentious. It had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the cast iron cookware in the kitchen, which appeared to us to be maintained with love. We appreciated the robes, towels, and a stocked library of books and games that were provided and my husband read one book during our stay, which is typically the hallmark of a very relaxing vacation for us. I am a songwriter/minister myself and I enjoyed my daily morning practice of writing/reading/and reflection while drinking coffee sitting in the chair provided down by the creek. The private hot springs were the original draw for us and we loved having them morning, noon, and night to ourselves. The only downside is that there are cabins/homes directly across from the property. The first day and a half no one was there, which was awesome and then a big group seemed to check in to the cabin immediately across from us so that there were then people walking down to the stream in the morning and in the evening, they kept their lights on, including an outdoor floodlight that distracted from our beautiful dark view of the night sky/full moon and privacy in the hot spring. Other than that, the location is great- easy to get to Buena Vista and Salida with a fun day trip to St. Elmo. Highly recommended."
