"I'm not much for doing reviews but I felt like this place deserves another 5 star review I looked all over for a place to get away with my wife of 30 years. We both needed peace and quiet but she also needs to get her shop on. I hit the jack pot when I found the Willis retreat. After the second day of our stay she looked at me and said she was over relaxed, I've never heard her say that. The following day we went to Breckenridge so she could shop. Some people from back home told us to avoid it and some people said we had to go there. Yeah there's tourist trap stores there but there's also some cool stores that have locally made stuff , all in all it's a pretty cool place. All of the other reviews were the deciding factor for booking the Willis Retreat and all I can say to the Willis family is Thanks for letting us stay there. I highly recommend the Willis Retreat"

"This was the second time we did a church ladies' retreat here, and it was even better than the first time! Everyone loved the coziness and space of the home, and the property and surrounding areas are just beautiful! The cleanliness and organization of things was great, and the owners have always been a pleasure to work with! There were plenty of beds for our big group, plenty of seating space and chairs for meals and meeting times, and plenty of options for things to do in our free time. Some went on a hike nearby, some did games and puzzles, some did a craft in the dining room, and some went to Fairplay for ice cream! It's a great option for getting away to the mountains with only an hour and a half drive from Denver...would definitely recommend it to anyone! Thank you!"

"We stayed at the Cozy Burro for three days on a "working retreat." This was our second time here, and it definitely will not be our last! The space is perfect for us - we can meet indoors at the dining table, downstairs in the large "den," on the enclosed back porch, or outdoors! All the rooms are spacious and allow for our group of eight to spread out while working together. When we need a break, we can go for a lovely mountain walk by simply stepping outdoors and walking! The kitchen is wonderfully large and well-equipped, so that cooking large meals is easy. Alternatively, the closeness to the town allows for eating out without taking up too much of our precious time together at the cabin. This burro is a true gem in the mountains!"

"This is a fabulous property with beautiful, picturesque views. My husband and I came with a group of people and we are so glad we did. We really wanted to get away from it all and this place was perfect. It was pet friendly, which made traveling with our dogs even better. The memory foam sleeper on the second floor pull out couch was unbelievably comfortable and was right in front of the fireplace. To top it off the view when waking up was just gorgeous. We will be back!"
