"First of, Michelle is great. She is responsive and answered all my inquiries very quickly.
The cabin is great. We stayed for 2 nights, two families with kids and we loved it. It is relatively remoted from town, yet less than 15 minutes to get there if you need something.
Everything was clean, organized and well taken care of. The kitchen has most of the tools you can think about, and the best part was the grill and porch.
The bath on the main floor is an old Victorian style bath. Although it is very impressive and romantic, it is less useful with kids and families. That's it.
Again, thanks a lot."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in August. It is charming, comfortable, and very well maintained. The deck is fantastic, you may want to spend all your time outside. But inside is very cozy, too. We especially appreciated the traditional/historic decor and furnishings. The location is very convenient, an easy walk to the businesses of Green Mountain Falls and the lake. We look forward to returning again soon."

"Staying at the Blue Spruce Caboose was a fantastic experience. Lynda was very friendly over email and in person - she gave us suggestions for places to visit as well as other useful information. Do not skip out on the "Pamper Me" package! Lynda made us two delicious breakfasts. The day we left we also got the "Do Not Disturb" package so we could eat and hit the road. She put everything in the caboose while we were away the day before and all we had to do was wake up, eat, and head out. It was simple, but great! The hot tub was very lovely, though we only were able to use it one night as it was raining almost our entire trip. The caboose was cozy and had base heaters, which we needed as it was pretty chilly at night. Also, it is located very close to the Pike's Peak Hwy and Manitou Springs if you're looking to explore Pike's Peak or go hiking around that area (The Incline knocked me on my butt). If you're looking for a unique stay with delicious meals to start your day look no further!"

"We stayed with our two children (9 and 11) and 2 retrievers. Loved all of the trees and beautiful scenery- great location, quiet, and close to fun activities. The little cafe at corner in Florissant has great pies we enjoyed on spacious deck and the kids loved the tire swing- such a hit. The Fossil Beds up the street were scenic and the Jr Ranger program fun for the kids. Close drive to Cripple Creek and Mollie Kathleen Mine (fantastic). My hubby had a great time driving his motorcycle on the curvy roads. The house is older, not fancy, but is super comfortable and clean/nice."
