  • Excellent

"This is the third time in the last year that I have stayed at one of Joanne's properties. They have all been very clean and well maintained. Over the three visits Joanne has been great with responding quickly to anything that was needed or any concerns. She definitely goes above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. If I have to go back to Colorado Springs, I would definitely stay at one of her houses again (including this one."

  • Boys trip 2014

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house provided us with everything we needed. The wood stove was great on very cold evenings. The WiFi worked well and the house was equiped with everything we needed. We would definitely return!"

  • A Quaint Home in a Quirky Town With the Best of Friends

"If you're looking for a place to gather to enjoy friends or family, to feel cozy and welcome, to feel like you belong and are a local of a town far, far away- this is the place for you! From board games to linens to dishes to charm this house has it all! The owners also seem to be exceptionally wonderful people (and we suspect the authors of a very informative guide to Manitou)! SO COOL! We walked into town about a dozen times a day (and found ourselves gasping for air walking back up the hill...the altitude change for us was a killer until the last day, ha!), whether for a cup of coffee, a slice of pizza, a quarter game of ski ball, or for souvenirs. We ooh'd and ahh'd at the views of a snow-topped Pikes Peak tucked behind the school across the street. We marveled at the nooks and crannies of the home (we peaked at the top floor-a perfect retreat for young kids of a family!) and the adorable details in the doors and windows. We slept like babies in 3 of the cozy second-floor rooms. The house is not new and has seen a bit of love, wear, and tear over the years, but it is truly lovely and a great place to rest your head while enjoying all Manitou has to offer (Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds-all within 10 minutes...or less!). If you're like us...you may find the home is so convenient that you literally only sleep and shower there and are out exploring your scenic surroundings your entire trip! But regardless- if you book here- you're bound to fall in love and have a wonderful time! :)"

  • Loved it!

"My family rented this house and we absolutely loved it! It is a beautiful house with a great location. It is close to the broadmoor hotel, downtown Colorado Springs and some great hiking trails. We were a total of 11 people staying in the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. It has a beautiful back yard! I would highly recommend this house and we would love to rent this again in the future."
