  • Wonderful cabin and location

"We enjoyed a week in July at Timberline and it is everything and more than depicted in this site. The view is fantastic with several seating areas, a grill for great dinners and the hot tub is fantastic after a long day of activities in the mountains. The interior of the cabin is both comfortable and tastefully decorated in true mountain spirit. The kitchen is large with newer applicances and great for families. Brenda has everything taken care from clean linens to a large supply of kitchen utensils for those who like to cook like myself. The lower level is great for kids with a pool table/air hockey table, movies and a TV. The upstairs seating area in the loft is perfect for reading at night or checking emails (ugh) if you must. We used to live in Denver and love the Alma location for it's seclusion but close proximity to so many outdoor activities in greater South Park. It is also close to Breck for daily excursions or a nice meal out on the town. This was our first VRBO experience and it could not have been better. My son and I went fly fishing, and the whole family enjoyed white water rafting, hiking, horseback riding etc. etc."

  • Nice Place to Get Away

"Cabin is conveniently located about 15 min. driving to Buena Vista and 5 min to the Mt Princeton Hot Springs Resort. Many activities are within a very short drive. During our trip we rafted on the Arkansas River, rode horses from the Mt. Princeton stables, visited the St. Elmo ghost town, drove a RZR to the top of Tincup pass, Zip-lined at Captain Zipline, and rode mountain bikes down the Mosquito Range all within a short distance from the cabin. Both bathrooms are updated and very nice. We cooked several meals in the cabin with no issue. There's no TV signal or WI-FI, but there is a nice kitchen table for family games and a DVD player/flat screen in the living room for family movie night. The bedrooms are not large by today's standards, but this is a great cabin at about 8,000 feet that is close to all activities Central Colorado has to offer. Don't expect a 4 star hotel, but we left with memories that we would never find in a 4 star hotel type of vacation."

  • Beautiful setting

"This area is truly awesome. The home is well laid out with plenty of room and tucked into a beautiful spot on the mountain. This property is very private, yet convenient to amenities. Susan was simply amazing to work with and handled all the details of the rental in a very professional and efficient manner. Thank you so much for all of your help. P.S. Love the new patio furniture out back. Really helps to enjoy all of the abundant wildlife."

  • Beyond already-high expectations

"Having seen the photos, we were ready to be impressed, and were not disappointed. Already lots of discussion here about this view, but it truly does have to be experienced to get the full effect. We were fortunate enough to be there in early September with near perfect weather, and were treated to a morning view of magnificent snow-capped peaks for a full 180 degrees (the house is perfectly situated to get the max impact of the view through the giant rear window wall, as well as the deck). Years ago we spent some time in the Swiss Alps, and it's not an exaggeration to say this section of the Rockies stands up pretty well in the comparison. Go and enjoy, you'll be glad you did."
