  • Nice location and great yard!

"We spent the month of June in this cottage and really enjoyed the location and the large yard. We are full time travelers and have stayed in many vacation rentals. This was one of the best equipped as far as kitchen dishes, pots, pans, paper products, towels, etc. The kitchen is beautiful and a pleasure to use. Everything worked well and we had no issues while we were there. Our small dog loved the big, fenced yard and we ate many meals on the large patio. The owner was easy to communicate with and usually answered questions fairly quickly. The house has two window air conditioners located in each of the bedrooms which were quite necessary during this rather warm month. It would be helpful to have another air conditioner in the living room or the kitchen as those two rooms became very warm as the day progressed. Also, Unitah is a very busy street so it is not the quietest of locations. However the house did shut out most of the noise. Road noise was not uncommon to hear in the bedroom late at night."

  • Fall Getaway

"The cabin was much larger than it looked in the photos (as was the beautiful deck) and the view is absolutely stunning, especially with the brilliant aspen. I'm a hiker and I hiked to my heart's content. I wished I'd brought my bike because there are plenty of places to ride, too. My friends enjoyed sitting under the umbrella and enjoying the view while they caught up. We decided to cook dinner one night and the cabin has everything you need and more for cooking - made me want to go home and buy some new cookware! I usually bring wineglasses and big coffee mugs and would recommend that if there are more than two people. There's plenty of sleeping room and having two bathrooms was great. You can drive to the Colorado Trail in just a few minutes and hike Mt Elbert if you're up for it. The owner is very nice too. Definitely a place to visit again!"

  • Great Cabin with Beautiful Surroundings

"A group of 11 stayed at the property 8/14/14 - 8/17/14 and found it to be spacious and accomodating. There is more than enough living space, bedrooms and beds to accomodate most any large group comfortably. The group's activities varied between, fishing, ATVing, hiking and biking and all were very satisfied with the opprtunities close by. The property was clean, well kept and the updated bathrooms and kitchens were a nice improvment. There is also a large hot tub for the the group to enjoy following the days activites. The property deserves top marks all the way around. We will certainly be back."

  • Wonderful, relaxing vacation

"Great cabin along the Arkansas river. Very relaxing guest house tucked against some National Forest property. Great private fly fishing on property. It was so relaxing to sleep in and then just walk down to do some fly fishing for the day and then a bike ride on the Mineral Belt Trail in the afternoon in downtown Leadville. We are already booking our next trip."
