  • FANTASTIC!

"This home is fantastic. There is so much charm here. Your family will love it! There is plenty of room for all ages. We brought our 4 year old son, and dog. They fit perfectly. Mark thought of everything and met all of our needs, he was so flexible! There were even kid books and toys along with board games, and classic movies and books for leisure reading. We had 30+ day stay and enjoyed every minute of it. The animals were so pleasant and the pond gave such a relaxing feel each time we drove into the property. We hiked on local trails. It's a quick run to the store or even shopping. We have already recommended the place to our closest friends and family."

  • A wonderful cabin

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in August. It is charming, comfortable, and very well maintained. The deck is fantastic, you may want to spend all your time outside. But inside is very cozy, too. We especially appreciated the traditional/historic decor and furnishings. The location is very convenient, an easy walk to the businesses of Green Mountain Falls and the lake. We look forward to returning again soon."

  • Perfect family retreat

"My family stayed in the Chalets at the Tudor Rose in early August. It was a wonderful and refreshing time. Located just 1 mile outside Salida, it's on a mountainside and very secluded. The chalets are widely spaced and arranged at angles to each other, so the sense of privacy is excellent and lets you enjoy the landscape views. We had plenty of space and the unit was clean and well equipped. Both dogs and horses are welcome, and we enjoyed seeing both there. There are several paddocks as well as an off-leash dog area well away from the other livestock. The access to town is really nice when you are cooking in a new place. We could quickly run errands if needed and not burn 1/2 a day doing it. There is no dishwasher, but all other appliances are available including coffee maker and microwave. The master bedroom is downstairs with a spacious two-sink vanity and walk-in shower. The loft has two queen beds and a large full bath. We enjoyed rafting, fishing, hiking and napping during our one-week stay. We'll definitely be back and I've already referred several people to this great place."

  • Absolutely the best place we've ever stayed!

"We are frequent travelers to Twin Lakes back to my grandparents generation. We love hiking and the outdoors. We love fishing in the lakes and site seeing. There is one hike we make each year and that is back to InterLaken. This cabin reminded us of that... it was perfect. We also had our kids with us who enjoyed hiking around and the secret playroom. We can't wait to go back!!"
