  • Another Great Stay!

"My husband and I stayed at another one of Brad and Laura's cabin's last October and that one was booked for our labor day trip to Colorado so we decided to book this one instead with a slight worry it couldn't be nearly as great as our last one! Our worries quickly subsided as we drove the nearly quarter mile drive way to our remote destination for the weekend. The cabin is very open, spacious, clean and homey. They always add the touches that you would want in your own home: internet, surround sound speakers, comfortable beds and pillows, extra blankets and cooking supplies to allow you to cook the simple and gourmet meals! We were lucky enough to have two bear spottings while we were there as well as deer, birds and other wildlife. So cool! We come to Colorado a couple times a year as our brother plays football for Air Force Academy and we are hooked on renting cabins from Brad and Laura. We get to rent our third different cabin next month and am looking forward to seeing what it has to offer! Thanks again guys!"

  • Colorado Springs/Monument

"My Family stayed at this property June/July 2014. We had a range of ages down to a 2 year old. The welcome feeling of the home was present from just a few steps inside the home. There was amble space for everyone & beautiful views. The kitchen was well appointed with room to fix a meal for 8+ people. We ate outside on the lovely deck every meal we could, enjoying the great weather, and views. The home was private, quiet, well equipped and above all CLEAN! Bedrooms were large and beds comfortable. The laundry room came in handy and was used more than we would have ever thought. Every single person had a great experience and enjoyed their time. The local grocery stores had great selections with a specialty store much like a Sprouts. There were also some good dining out choices nearby. The commute to Denver or the Springs was easy and took no time at all. All in all this home delivered everything that was advertised and then some! We would all happily stay here again. As a side note, but very important - the owners were easy to work with and ensured we knew what was needed on their end. The communication from them was quick and thorough. It was obvious they cared about our experience with them - and that was greatly appreciated."

  • A lovely home in an incredible location.

"We rented the home for one week in July 2015. Dave met us on time and provided a detailed breakdown of the runnings of the house. A really nice touch was the bottle of wine and gift basket full of treats. We were two families of 3 and we had plenty of room. Everything worked well and the garden of the gods club facilities were excellent. We had the pleasure of deer in the backyard on most days and one day a male with 8 points had dinner about 25 feet away. The community is nice and safe and well located to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. We would definitely stay here again."

  • great vacation

"A group of us, parents and teens, dropped in and spent three days skiing at Monarch. The house was great and spacious. The instructions and the use of the house was easy and problem free. The kitchen was well furnished and dinners in the open floor plan were a blessing. We also had a number of contacts with people in the area and everyone was great and many went out of their way to help us enjoy the vacation. I look forward to making plans for next year."
