"This place is everything it looks to be and more. We stayed here over the week of Christmas with all of my in-laws and it was perfect. Very family friendly. Tons of room to do cooking/baking and eating in the kitchen. Lots of activities to keep the kids entertained. Rooms were very spacious and accommodated the needed pack-n-plays without overcrowding the space. Bob and Karen were terrific, extremely responsive and a real pleasure to work with start to finish. The hot tub was AMAZING, and a universal favorite after sledding or ice skating :) The lodge came furnished with everything we could have wanted, including SUPER comfy bedding and Christmas decorations!
The wood stove was more than sufficient for heating the house, and those who preferred to be extra toasty used the space heaters. It was the perfect gathering place for us- secluded and woodsy but just a few minutes from civilization. I really could not have asked for anything more. Watching the snow fall out the large windows while drinking a hot coco, playing games and talking with family was truly a dream come true. I would whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to get away with family! Thanks a ton Bob and Karen!"

"Me and my friends went to Stagecoach Ranch for our spring break and had the most incredible time. It was such a wonderful week spent in God's beautiful creation. Every room in the house has a beautiful view. The house was so cozy and we enjoyed just lounging around inside and outside. We were never bored because there is a ton of things to do. We loved exploring the ranch, going on a hike, and having a picnic lunch. Jeremy and Courtney Cole are incredible also. They went above and beyond to make us feel so comfortable. I can't say thank you enough to them for the most perfect spring break we were able to have at Stagecoach Ranch. I can't recommend Stagecoach Ranch enough, it is the perfect place to getaway and stand in awe of God's creation."

"It's clear that lot of attention has gone into making this home a perfect vacation getaway. The house was immaculate. The views from the porch swing in the front, the views from the deck and hot tub in the back, and the views from every window throughout the house never let you forget that you're in the majestic Rockies. The property is very private. And even though it feels (quite blissfully) like you're totally disconnected from all of civilization, the drive out to local markets and restaurants is a just matter of minutes. Downtown Salida is unique and charming. It's very much like an art community of a larger city that found a way to escape and thrive on its own. Along the edge of the shops and eateries is a riverside park. It's beautiful and has a nice playground. Our favorite day was driving up to the ghost town of St. Elmo. The drive was spectacular. We passed many other landmarks along the way. We also meant to visit the local brewery (Elevation) but got distracted with our home base. I mean, we had a hike right out the back door, a private hot tub nestled among the most amazing views of the mountains, a romantic two-person shower, a closet full of games, music, and movies, a huge flatscreen television, wi-fi, a nice book collection, a pool table (alongside a large window with yet another gorgeous view), a popcorn maker, a large kitchen stocked with all the necessities, and delivery from local restaurants just a phone call away. Why leave? It was in fact was very hard to leave. Our four year old actually cried when we left. He said he was going to miss "our Colorado home and Spike." Our kids all made friends with the friendly cat (Spike) who lives on the property (his set-up is in the garage, he only comes in if you want him to), and they all fell in love with him. They cannot wait to visit Spike and our Colorado home again. My husband and I are already talking about returning to see what it's like in the summer. This place is magical! And the owners are super nice. They are attentive yet hands-off. Check-in was as simple as opening a lockbox. There was a detailed guide in the house and cabinets were even labeled. Really, I can't say enough great things about this place. We loved everything about it!"

"Nice home, comfortable furniture, lots of cozy blankets. The loft is huge and the kids enjoyed this sleeping area. This home is at a pretty high altitude, over 8000 feet, and some members of our party had trouble sleeping this high up and suffered from some high altitude sickness."
