"Truly an immaculate home in every sense of the word. A great vacation home for family or a group of friends. Peaceful, gorgeous and of course relaxing. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for a super vacation!!!!"

"We stayed at the Pikes Peak Retreat during the Air Force Academy 2015 grad week. There were a couple of days that we had to be at the academy early, but other than that, we really didn't mind the commute (about an hour depending on traffic). It was so nice to return to this peaceful property after running around doing graduation stuff! The beds were all very comfortable, and the great room provided a great place for everyone to gather. The property was well maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We went for lots of walks around the property, enjoyed the water wild life across the road, and my son did some mountain biking as well. We had a great week!"

"This was the best experience we have had with a VRBO home rental! The home is comfortable, and beautifully decorated with amazing artwork throughout. The layout of the home was really comfortable with 2 master suites, one upstairs and one downstairs. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable and there is also a workout room. There was not one thing that we did not have, from a complete kitchen with everything a cook would need to comfortable outdoor patio furniture. We barbecued on the deck every single night on a commercial grade propane barbecue. The view off the deck is spectacular! The first night, from the deck we saw a black bear making his way right down the creek. The creek was running and was just beautiful to sit out on the deck and listen to with a glass of wine.
The unexpected was the graciousness of the hosts, Jack and Linda Mason. They were incredibly gracious and wanted to make sure we were comfortable in their home, even checking to make sure there was shampoo and cream rinse in the bathroom. :) The neighborhood is a gated community and is immaculate and beautiful to take walks around. We were there for the USA Shooting Nationals and had our son and his friend with us. The boys had the 2 bedrooms downstairs and utilized the office area to do homework. We entertained friends one evening and had a sit down dinner party for 10 and had all the necessary details. Cloth napkins, napkin rings, wine glasses, serving ware and even a red wine decanter. We will be back as it was the best 7 days away we have ever spent on a vacation!
We went to Royal Gorge, Pikes Peak on the Cog train, Manitou Springs, hiked the Helen Falls, and toured the Olympic Training Center. A perfect vacation! Thank you Jack for your incredible kindness and making our stay so very enjoyable!"

"Beautiful condo overlooking the main street. Right on the river next to a park, restaurants, and a little shopping. Surprisingly, it was not too touristy. I feel like this place is a hidden gem. The condo was well stocked with several books, cooking supplies, and clean. Thank you to whoever has this wonderful little place. I enjoyed my time, and you have a beautiful vacation home!"
