"The house was great. We had 2 families with a total of 4 adults and 9 kids. The home is laid out very well for so many people. The dining room & kitchen were very functional. Decks were very nice. We also liked the location of the home.
Communication with the owners was great, and everything ran smoothly."

"We rented this property for our large family to enjoy during USAFA graduation week... And extended our stay for a wedding. This historic house was very comfortable and well appointed! Lots of room to visit with family. Great front porch complete with 2 porch swings. The location was great... We loved walking to downtown restaurants!"

"This was exactly what we were looking for: secluded, quiet, out in the country, peaceful. The ultimate Colorado get-away. You take several dirt roads to get there (the directions were perfect). The house is exactly as described and pictured, well maintained, with everything you need. We grocery shopped in Denver, and bought a styrofoam cooler to use when sightseeing, but we left it behind for others to use (so did people before us, there are probably 3 or 4 styrofoam coolers there now...) There were plenty of pots, pans, utensils etc. for cooking, which worked out great. We never did get around to using the hot tub or fireplace. Beds were comfy, we slept great. I recommend driving or walking down to the end of the road (dead-end), it opens up to a beautiful view. And the sunsets from the deck were wonderful. Some of our favorite things to do: driving on Guanella Pass, near Grant. Stunning views. Also Cottonwood Lake in the San Isabel National Forest, approximately eight miles west of Buena Vista, Colorado. Pristine waters, undisturbed shoreline, we got such gorgeous pictures from there. While in Buena Vista (about 50 min. from cabin), we went to Buena Vista River Park, which has easy walking trails along both sides of the Arkansas River. Beautiful scenery.
We definitely recommend this cabin, and the owners had good communication and the directions were spot-on. We'd love to go back someday. A+"
