"This spacious and well-appointed three-level log home is the PERFECT place for getting away from it all and still having the pampered comforts of resort quality accommodations. We spent a week there between Christmas and New Year's, and enjoyed spectacular views of the Sawatch Range, close proximity to outdoor activities, and a comfortable retreat for our party of ten people. The adventurous of our group spent their days downhill and cross country skiing, while those that stayed closer to home enjoyed cozy fires, solitude, and the ever-changing views of Mt. Elbert and Twin Lakes. The kitchen has ample modern conveniences and supplies, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of room for large groups to simultaneously dine, bathe, and just hang out together without feeling cramped. We can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the wildflowers and the ample hiking opportunities close by. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that had such a complete package of comfort, natural beauty and accessibility to the outdoors. A MUST for any group who loves to be pampered and loves seclusion!"

"The cabin was much larger than it looked in the photos (as was the beautiful deck) and the view is absolutely stunning, especially with the brilliant aspen. I'm a hiker and I hiked to my heart's content. I wished I'd brought my bike because there are plenty of places to ride, too. My friends enjoyed sitting under the umbrella and enjoying the view while they caught up. We decided to cook dinner one night and the cabin has everything you need and more for cooking - made me want to go home and buy some new cookware!
I usually bring wineglasses and big coffee mugs and would recommend that if there are more than two people. There's plenty of sleeping room and having two bathrooms was great. You can drive to the Colorado Trail in just a few minutes and hike Mt Elbert if you're up for it. The owner is very nice too. Definitely a place to visit again!"

"We had a leadership retreat at the cabin and just loved how clean and comfortable everything was! Huge bathrooms, spacious sitting areas, and a surprisingly well-appointed kitchen, considering there are no wall cabinets, only base ones! We thought the bed was lovely and cozy, and everything smelled nice and clean too! The view and surrounding area was spectacular, especially since we visited in the fall. Gorgeous aspen trees! Loved it!"

"We are frequent travelers to Twin Lakes back to my grandparents generation. We love hiking and the outdoors. We love fishing in the lakes and site seeing. There is one hike we make each year and that is back to InterLaken. This cabin reminded us of that... it was perfect. We also had our kids with us who enjoyed hiking around and the secret playroom. We can't wait to go back!!"
