"We are frequent travelers to Twin Lakes back to my grandparents generation. We love hiking and the outdoors. We love fishing in the lakes and site seeing. There is one hike we make each year and that is back to InterLaken. This cabin reminded us of that... it was perfect. We also had our kids with us who enjoyed hiking around and the secret playroom. We can't wait to go back!!"

"We spent three great nights at the tree house cabin. The cabin was the perfect location with great views! The cookies and wine were greatly appreciated......and delicious. The dinners on the deck were so peaceful. . We plan on staying again next year!"

"This log cabin was absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! It far exceeded our expectations. We met family from all over the country here and had plenty of room for everyone. The cabin is so beautiful, but in a comfortable way. We felt like we were right at home, except that my home is not nearly this nice!!!
I can’t tell you how wonderful it was for all of us, but especially my elderly mother, that all the kids could go downstairs and play pool, games, craft, or watch TV. And yet, there was plenty of room for all of us to be upstairs together to have our family time and to eat together.
There are so many things to do around the cabin, all within a half hour to an hour. We went white water river-rafting out of Buena Vista and visited the cute little shops there. We visited Leadville and enjoyed the quaint shops their too. We went through Independence Pass and went over to Aspen. The drive was breathtaking. We visited Breckenridge and it was a fun little town. Our guys did some fishing and caught some trout and also did some shooting at a nearby shooting area. We also attempted to hike Mt. Elbert. What we weren’t aware of was that you need to leave early in the morning (at least if you are going to go in July), as you need to be heading back down the mountain by 12:00pm to avoid afternoon thunder and lightning showers. It was wonderful just to hike around by the cabin. There is a lake just up the road from the cabin and that was a nice little hour long hike to get there and back. There is zip-lining near there that we didn't have time for, and we also didn’t make it to Interlaken Hotel Resort over at Twin Lakes which I hear is beautiful. So much to do, we will just HAVE to go back. Can’t wait.
And if all you want to do is relax????? The views from the rooms or the deck are incredible. I think I could sit out there all day long and just soak up the beauty. My elderly mom was able to go with us on many of our trips to the different towns and really enjoyed the drive over Independence Pass. We saw a lot of wildlife on that drive, but also saw some just near the cabin.
I hope you have a fantastic time if you choose to go!!! You really should, it is great!!!"

"This spacious and well-appointed three-level log home is the PERFECT place for getting away from it all and still having the pampered comforts of resort quality accommodations. We spent a week there between Christmas and New Year's, and enjoyed spectacular views of the Sawatch Range, close proximity to outdoor activities, and a comfortable retreat for our party of ten people. The adventurous of our group spent their days downhill and cross country skiing, while those that stayed closer to home enjoyed cozy fires, solitude, and the ever-changing views of Mt. Elbert and Twin Lakes. The kitchen has ample modern conveniences and supplies, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of room for large groups to simultaneously dine, bathe, and just hang out together without feeling cramped. We can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the wildflowers and the ample hiking opportunities close by. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that had such a complete package of comfort, natural beauty and accessibility to the outdoors. A MUST for any group who loves to be pampered and loves seclusion!"
