  • Relax in the woods

"I have been staying in Westcliffe 2 months out of the year since 2006. I have always wanted to stay at this cabin, but it was more than my wife and I needed for ourselves. This year, I took the entire family (6 to 75) and we all enjoyed the place. Right next to the hiking trails, yet close enough to town if you needed something. If you want to relax and be free of the Internet, then this place will fit your needs. I do have a wife with disabilities, so the cabin can be challenging in that regard, but it is doable."

  • Family Reunion

"The scenery was great. I could sit on the doorstep of each cabin and look to the Sangre de Cristo's or to the Wet Mountains and feel like I had died and gone to heaven. It was great that we could walk up and connect to the Rainbow Trail from the ranch!!! Dean and Jodi were great hosts, very helpful. The cabins were very comfortable. Some of the members of my family felt that the setting was a little "rustic" for them, but I thought it was fun to experience a ranch in the high country. I WILL GO BACK AGAIN."

  • Family Reunion

"We had 23 family members ranging in age from 17 months to 69. This place was perfect for all of us! All of the adults had a private bedroom and bath. The little cousins had a sleep over in the loft and the teenagers took over the rev room! There was lots to do on site...pool, hot tub, paddle boats and kayaking on the lake, breakfast and drinks on the porch, smores on the firepit! The town of Westcliffe has a great park with a playground for the kids, open space for kickball and tennis courts! We will definately be back! Thanks for everything, Lois!"

  • Another Wonderful Stay!

"We come to Westcliffe yearly for a week, and this is our second stay in this beautiful home! Our original plan was to spend a week in Estes Park, then a week here. But then the flooding started the day before we left. so we called and were able to spend an extra week here. We loved it so much, we decided to just spend two weeks here every time! It is clean, well kept. . a perfect vacation home. It is always quiet and peaceful, only about 11 miles to the little town of Westclife. And the views!!! WOW! You will never get tired of looking at the Sangre De Christo range right in front of you. We just can't say enough!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

Westcliffe Travel Tips

Get Away to a Rural Setting With Westcliffe Vacation Rentals

Hidden away in the southern part of Colorado, you'll find the rural community of Westcliffe. Vacation rentals in the area provide you with access to a number of recreational activities, including fishing, horseback riding, bird watching, camping, technical climbing, hiking, and gardening. From Westcliffe, Denver is three hours away, Canyon City is a 45-minute drive, and Colorado Springs is an hour and half away.

Westcliffe Lodging Gives You Sweeping Vistas

No matter which direction your Westcliffe vacation rental faces, you'll have a great view—four mountain ranges surround the town. To the west, the Sangre de Cristo mountain range rises to heights of 14,000 feet. If your vacation rental in Custer County faces east, you'll be looking at the Wet Mountains. The Collegiate Mountains sit to the north with the Spanish Peaks to the south.

South Central Colorado Cabins Offer Extra Amenities

Westcliffe vacation rentals have the luxuries of home in a vacation setting. Whether cooking is your hobby or you're looking to cut costs, enjoy the on-sight kitchen in your rental. Many cabins for rent in Colorado offer multiple bedrooms, allowing you to spread out. Having more than one room also comes in handy when you're with friends or family. Step outside your door and head off to one of the area's hiking trails or take in the sunset from your porch.

Enjoy Regional Events From Your Westcliffe Vacation Rental

Westcliffe hosts events throughout the year. From the High Mountain Hay Fever Blue Grass Festival to the Wet Mountain Western Days, you can find music festivals featuring local fiddlers and musicians. Step out your door and get in your car for scenic drives through the surrounding mountains. If you're there in June, you might catch the annual Silver Cliff Mining/Heritage Days, honoring the rich history of the region.
