"Beautifully furnished cabin that is very spacious. Amazing views, next to a large pond right in the heart of beautiful country. Perfect place for a cozy couple's get-a-way with other couples. Wendell and Liliana were kind and gracious hosts. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you!!!"

"Thanks so much for the wonderful place to stay in. Our family loved it. The kids had so much fun playing on the playground equipment, it was perfect for kids of all ages.
We drove to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, and several other places which by the way were only 30 minutes away from the lodge. The location is great because it is so close to many special attractions and only 5 minutes from town which was very handy if we needed something.
Finding the cave and the treasure hunt was very exciting for the kids. The hiking trail was great and we all enjoyed the hammocks in the back yard. I would recommend this place to anyone for a fantastic vacation.
We saw a herd of deer walk by and a black bear came to visit one night which the kids will talk about for a long time.
Thanks Again, Everyone in the family said this was one of the best vacations they had ever had. We have traveled to many places and have to agree, it’s awesome.

"We had 5 adults and 2 children (age 2-6) staying. There was lots of room to spread out and get away or be together. We especially enjoyed the deck. The kids loved to run around on it and the little picnic table was a huge hit. The kids also loved the playset, which isn't shown in the photos. It's a very high quality playset most kids would love and adults can sit on the upper deck and watch the kids. The hot tub was enjoyed also. The home was the best stocked vacation rental we've stayed in. One small caution regarding young children. Our 2 year old loved the stairs (lots of stairs, inside and out), but while he could go up just fine, going down was nearly a disaster a few times. This child was not used to stairs, but they were irrestable to him and we had to devise gates with chairs, etc. The setting is ideally suited for maybe 4 and above or someone who is very used to stairs - my opinion only. While you do have only peak-a-boo views of mountains, we were definitely in the mountains. The ground is definitely very hilly (another concern for our 2 yr old - he took numerous tumbles). We could see the top of a neighbor's house, but didn't see or hear anyone while there. We would definitely consider staying here again once the kids are a little older."

"This house exceeded our expectations. It's even better than what the pictures show. You can't beat the mountain view and privacy. The house was very clean and had all the amenities and more that we needed for a family of 5. My kids loved hanging on the porch and watching for the deer and hummingbirds. We used it as a hub to the Olympic training center, AF academy, wolf wildlife preserve, garden of the gods, red rock canyon hiking, Florrisant fossil monument, manitou springs and the cog railway. Grocery store/restaurants are only 10 min drive away. If we could have a mountain home, I'd want to purchase one just like this!"
