  • Excellent Place to Stay

"We stayed in the chalet for the weekend and it was a great place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet! Both nights we saw deer walking through the yard. The owners, Ken and Kathy, were great. Will definitely be back again!"

  • Absolutely Wonderful Log Home with a gorgeous view of Pikes Peak!

"We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and invited our adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren out to visit while we were there. Nine of us spent the week in this gorgeous home. We visited Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Santa at the North Pole, The Royal Gorge, the Wolf and Wildlife Center, 11 Mile Canyon Drive, Donut Mill in Woodland Park, baseball field by the new Catholic church in Woodland Park and a wonderful wooden playground at the elementary school in Woodland Park. We also went to Green Mountain Falls to hike to the falls and to walk around the lake in the center of town. We drove to Cripple Creek and ate lunch at the Imperial Hotel. All of our breakfasts and suppers were eaten in this gorgeous log home. We were out and about at lunchtime or would have eaten there again for those meals. The home was perfect for our family and we loved having a washing machine and dryer as we had 3 small children along. The home was very clean and neat and everything in working order. A fantastic experience for our whole family!"

  • Family reunion

"Our stay here was perfect. The photos don't do it justice. The house is big and was perfect for our family reunion. Lots of nearby activities (pikes peak and garden of the gods were favorites) and lots of room to hang out at the end of the day. Owners were helpful and friendly. Would love to come back in the winter."

  • Outstanding Vacation Experience

"We spent 5 wonderful days in this cabin. We found it very clean and extremely well equipped in every way. Twice we saw deer in the yard plus other small animals. The cabin is very close to Woodland Park which includes restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, etc. We did not use the hot tub but it was clean in every way. Communication with the owner was outstanding. This is an adventure you don't want to miss. Security deposit was promptly refunded. Thanks to the owners for a great vacation."
