"We came to the area 10 years ago on our honeymoon and came back this summer to show our kids and in laws just how beautiful Colorado is. This cabin did the trick. The view is breathtaking and the sound of running water from the amazing covered porch just seals the deal. 4 adults and 2 kids in this cabin fit perfectly. Comfortable and just amazing is the way I would describe this cabin. Will recommend over and over again."

"Words can not really express how wonderful this home is. It was all we could ever ask for. Our entire family of 12 with 4 children, ages 3-10, had the best time of our lives. The view is breath taking. It is well stocked with everything you need and very clean. It was great to have a washer and dryer to wash our clothes during our stay. It was close to all the the places we wanted to see. Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak Cog Train, Olympic Training Center, Dinosaur Resource Center, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and the Air Force Academy, were among the places we visited. We loved this place and if we ever would return to Colorado, we would definitely rent this place again."

"Thanks so much for the wonderful place to stay in. Our family loved it. The kids had so much fun playing on the playground equipment, it was perfect for kids of all ages.
We drove to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, and several other places which by the way were only 30 minutes away from the lodge. The location is great because it is so close to many special attractions and only 5 minutes from town which was very handy if we needed something.
Finding the cave and the treasure hunt was very exciting for the kids. The hiking trail was great and we all enjoyed the hammocks in the back yard. I would recommend this place to anyone for a fantastic vacation.
We saw a herd of deer walk by and a black bear came to visit one night which the kids will talk about for a long time.
Thanks Again, Everyone in the family said this was one of the best vacations they had ever had. We have traveled to many places and have to agree, it’s awesome.

"This was our second stay at this cottage - it's perfect for a quiet get-away. A lake right outside the door, it backs on to National Forest, grocery shopping at Woodland Park is 15-20 minutes away. Our pets (birds) were welcome; we just took care to move the antiques that we considered breakable to another room then put them back before we left. It is VERY quiet in the neighborhood with lots of hiking and birding available. Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods are very close, as is the beautiful South Platte river for fishing and more hiking. The house is very well equipped with pretty much everything you would need, and with cable TV and internet. Cell phone reception is non-existent until you drive close to Woodland Park but there is a land-line in the house that's available. I highly recommend this spot."
