"We a great week at Trout Creek Ranch with our two daughters and their families--6 adults and 6 children (ages 12-19). The fabulous home accommodated us well--plenty of beds, bathrooms and lots of space for cooking , eating and playing games. On the decks we soaked up the sun and mountain air, watched the hummingbirds feed and read. Outdoors we hiked, bird watched, fished, ran trails, watched the deer and more. Not too far away were hiking trails, thrilling river rafting and Geocache hunting. The Howies were super hosts: they met us upon arrival, showed us where things were and how to use them (including the all-important electronics stuff). The perfect week was over too soon."

"What a wonderful cabin to visit. It was clean, comfortable, and secluded (yet close enough to other cabins if needed). Even though there were a few other cabins around, it was still private and very quiet. We heard coyotes in the distance on our first night and watching the stars from the hot tub on the deck was indescribable. Things were easily labeled to find and while they did have cable and satellite tv, it's not needed as you can choose various other activities - relaxing on the porch as you can watch the sunset behind the mountains, listening to the stream, seeing Pike's Peak in the distance, or reading by the gas fireplace on the cool nights. It was close enough to town and price was extremely reasonable. We're so grateful we were able to experience Pike's Peak Resort."

"We loved loved loved this place. would love to adopt it as a permanent vacation home. We do vacation about every 2 years and always go to different National State Parks. This by far is our favorite home . It has everything to entertain all age groups.
Extremely hard to leave when our vacation ended. Wish we had a month vacation at this great house.
My family, my twin and our younger brother and his family all met here and had a week full of fun.
Not only hiking at Mueller Park and Garden of the Gods but also the great hikes behind the house. Also had hours of basketball, volleyball and card games, monopoly and so much more. Thank you Karen and Bob for sharing your home with us. Was so great to meet you both. I felt like I've known you for a long time.
I sure hope we all get to meet here again. Wouldn't want any other house."

"Stayed for 2 nights with some friends as we attended a men's retreat. The location is great, close to Woodland Park yet out of town enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains. It was very comfortable and clean with a nice kitchen, hot shower and plenty of linens. Everything was well stocked and in great shape."
