"This lovely home was the perfect place for a family of seven (two grandparents, three adult children, and two grandchildren) to spend a week. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. We all enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing the amazing view of Pike's Peak. We enjoyed many of the area attractions: Cripple Creek, the Dinosaur Center, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, white water rafting (adult kids), North Pole (grandparents and grandchildren), Pike's Peak Cog Railway (two of the adult kids hiked to the summit), Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and hiking at Mueller State Park. Several of us even went to the movie in Woodland Park. As you can tell, we stayed busy, but still had plenty of quiet time at the home. We loved the coffee at Cafe Leo and had a delicious dinner at The Swiss Chalet. The house had everything we needed, but we did bring a couple of security gates since we had a toddler. We would love to stay in this wonderful home again in the future."

"We rented this home for a week in June. The owners were great to work with. The home was bigger than what we had imagined. The lay out of the house made it feel like we could spread out. We spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the view of the mountains and watching the fish jump out of the water. One of ours days a beaver went swimming by slapping his tail. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. I would highly recommend this home."

"Our family (2 adults, 2 kids, dog) just concluded a week-long stay and had a wonderful time. Lots of room inside AND outside. The kids had plenty of space to spread out, and the backyard area was perfect for the dog. During our stay, we saw a young male buck, a mama doe with 2 fawns, and another young doe. The kids loved fishing even though they didn't catch anything (almost had a fish at one point but it got away). Would definitely stay again."

"We loved loved loved this place. would love to adopt it as a permanent vacation home. We do vacation about every 2 years and always go to different National State Parks. This by far is our favorite home . It has everything to entertain all age groups.
Extremely hard to leave when our vacation ended. Wish we had a month vacation at this great house.
My family, my twin and our younger brother and his family all met here and had a week full of fun.
Not only hiking at Mueller Park and Garden of the Gods but also the great hikes behind the house. Also had hours of basketball, volleyball and card games, monopoly and so much more. Thank you Karen and Bob for sharing your home with us. Was so great to meet you both. I felt like I've known you for a long time.
I sure hope we all get to meet here again. Wouldn't want any other house."
