"The view of the mountains from the large deck is just indescribable. The table & 6 chairs plus outdoor grill was perfect for my family. We also enjoyed the hot tub with a view of the mountains. The house is amazing! Most of the windows open so we were able to enjoy the fresh mountain air. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. There is also an extra refrigerator in the garage that we put our drinks in. The bonus is definitely the lower level that has a pool table, beautiful bar, sectional, TV, card table, and weight room. This home had everything we needed and more. And the owner was great at refunding our deposit so fast. Highly recommend!!"

"We loved our stay at this cute, quirky, well appointed home. The location was ideal. But the way the owners went above and beyond for us, getting us info about the area and anything else we needed is what made things easy and made us feel so at home. We will stay here again if we can make another trip to Manitou."

"We went for a secluded getaway and that's what we got a home away from home Jody provided everything we needed to feel comfortable you couldn't want for nothing except more time to stay there. if your looking to stay in bed all day the bedroom is not for you like the complaint stated but you don't get away to stay indoors you enjoy the clean air and quite time because no one is around to bother you. You enjoy the hot tub watching the sun go down and the bright stars come out at night or you BBQ on the patio and eat on the picnic table under the trees. We are definitely coming back as a matter of fact I took lots of pictures and showed them off to my friends who were envious that we found a gem. I'm online making my reservations for a girls trip see I just got home can't wait to go back. I even asked my husband when can we go again. Wont let you down . Thank you Jody!!!!!"

"We spent a week here for the 2015 USAFA Graduation. The home has a great location with respect to the Academy and it adequately accommodated our group of 14 adults. Since it is an older home, it looks a lot smaller from the outside but once we got inside, we were surprised at how much space it actually had. We were happy to find it very clean and equipped with a washer and dryer, iron and board, roll away bed, and with extra parking behind the home just to name a few things. One negative would be that the water faucets in the main floor bathroom were a little wobbly. However, when we made the owner aware, she quickly made a note of it to pass on to the handyman. The covered patio looks out onto the mountains and we found it to be a nice way to relax in the afternoons and evenings, weather permitting. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. However, be advised that cooking is a total effort in which you will need to purchase everything necessary to make a meal as there are no food preparation supplies (seasonings, spices, oil, etc) provided. This is probably common in these types of rentals, but was a new experience for us. The bright side was that it forced us to really relax and not get too caught up with cooking. Also we were able to visit the nearby Costco to purchase some breakfast items as well as other items. Another perk is that it is located within 5 miles of many restaurants and grocery stores. Lastly, the owner was accessible, always pleasant, and easy to work with."
