"My husband and I have returned for the second time! Absolutely perfect once again! We can't say enough about how gorgeous the property is and how wonderful the cabins are! We are planning our third trip there and can't wait to go back! It truly feels like home away from home! The owners keep the cabins immaculate and are there always if you need anything! Great people! Great times!"

"Great 2 BR condo only 3 short blocks from downtown. Very nicely furnished, very clean. Owner met us at front door and showed us where everything was and how it worked. Grandma and Grandpa spent 5 nights here with our 30 month old grandson, our third trip to Salida...we will stay here next year with both grandsons. GREAT PRICE!"

"We had a very nice stay. We were their on business and got a great feel of what Colorado living is all about. The guest house was nice, clean, had most amenities, with great views. We purchased groceries and cooked breakfast and dinner there. Ms. Janet had everything we needed and was very accommodating. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all."

"If you're looking for a place to gather to enjoy friends or family, to feel cozy and welcome, to feel like you belong and are a local of a town far, far away- this is the place for you! From board games to linens to dishes to charm this house has it all! The owners also seem to be exceptionally wonderful people (and we suspect the authors of a very informative guide to Manitou)! SO COOL! We walked into town about a dozen times a day (and found ourselves gasping for air walking back up the hill...the altitude change for us was a killer until the last day, ha!), whether for a cup of coffee, a slice of pizza, a quarter game of ski ball, or for souvenirs. We ooh'd and ahh'd at the views of a snow-topped Pikes Peak tucked behind the school across the street. We marveled at the nooks and crannies of the home (we peaked at the top floor-a perfect retreat for young kids of a family!) and the adorable details in the doors and windows. We slept like babies in 3 of the cozy second-floor rooms. The house is not new and has seen a bit of love, wear, and tear over the years, but it is truly lovely and a great place to rest your head while enjoying all Manitou has to offer (Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds-all within 10 minutes...or less!). If you're like us...you may find the home is so convenient that you literally only sleep and shower there and are out exploring your scenic surroundings your entire trip! But regardless- if you book here- you're bound to fall in love and have a wonderful time! :)"
